I can't help but make the comparison with Livent, Lake Resources, Standard Lithium ,Lilac & E3 . Jade Cove is tracking 60 DLEs, & in “Does DLE Matter ? “ suggests only 5 - 10 operation & 2-3 technologies will reach commercialisation . The bottom line includes (1) The cost of sourcing & disposing of the brine - (2) Cost of pre-treatment & DLE - (3) Capital & operating cost, & the scale of operation - Canadian E3 ,anticipates 130,000 cubic metres per day for a 20,000 tpa LiOH - Can a membrane handle 130million litres ?
E3 doesn't use membranes it uses beads just like an IC column. I wouldn't think membranes are way to go, water treatment facilities do large volumes and they use same tech as E3, the membrane is different and interesting to see it's success.
