Direct to Film(DTF) Printer/ Acrorip 9 settings walk through | Part 1 

You’re going to have to gang them up in photoshop or illustrator and export as a png. Unfortunately acrorip doesn’t let you add multiple images at once. Unless you are trying to duplicate one image then there is an option for that.

You have to clean up the png in illustrator or affinity and crop it correctly to size.

Where it says paper size, adjust the sizing to your liking.

You can enter 8.5x11 but just remember when you print an image you have to leave about a quarter to a half inch on the top and bottom of the page because the printers can’t print a full page

I wish I could but I have no idea how to set that up. I didn’t have a roll on my printer. You can join some Facebook groups that’ll show you how.

I have experienced that before and I recommend importing png files. For some reason a lot of rip software programs work better when you save everything in png format. Also, make sure you adjust the size of the image a little bigger than what you want to print with. I usually use the crop feature in photoshop or illustrator and it makes your printing jobs run a lot smoother. Hope this helps

you have to go under the white tab and it should give you a white highlighted option.

I have no idea. Most likely not. Acrorip 10 supports for sure or Cadlink.

Is your file a png?

Never have had that issue before. Make sure you are about to print to check mark the box that says print white and color

Make sure you print through the rip software. So open the software and import and image. Make sure you select the correct printer driver.

where do you download acrorip. I’ve purchased from 2 seperate companies and then they send me a usb but when i insert it into my laptop it recognises it as a bluetooth… i’m confused

Not 100 percent what you mean, but I’ll partially answer the question from what I understand. Make sure your artwork is edited properly and then in acrorip only check mark white only when you’re about to print and make sure color isn’t check marked. Then make sure your high light white is check marked at 100%.

@T-shirt Crusaders sorry so I have a black logo with white letters. I'm trying to print the logo on a black shirt. So I only need the white letters to go onto the shirt. When I tried to print the logo out onto the shirt a big white block was printed out. So then I tried to print with using the other setting for 100 percent white under color pixels and the white only setting on print option. The shirt still came out wrong. I just want to print the white letters from the logo onto a black shirt without having to put the black ink onto an already black shirt. Can you help me lol

@@astinson3556 ok I totally understand what you mean. To me it sounds like artwork issues that you need to correct in illustrator or photoshop. You’re going to need to remove that black in those programs. I think acrorip has the option to remove black from the logo, but since you’re printer is printing a white block, sounds to me like you didn’t save the logo with a transparent background when you exported the file.

Yea it happens sometimes. Did print it out and the white background printed?

@@t-shirtcrusaders2547 I have not converted the printer yet. I was testing the program out.just makes it hard to move image to where I want it on the sheet itself.

@@kilslo312 well it’s fine then but if you have the issue when you print then you have a problem. I recommend you get a better software in the future, trust me you will thank me down the line.

What do you recommend? I have the Epson stylus pro 3800. I have everything to convert the program would be the only downfall when I do.

@@kilslo312 I’d recommend the newest version of acrorip 10 or Cadlink Just make sure Cadlink is compatible with your printer. They have a list on their website

@@apparelillustrated6298 then I’d recommend getting acrorip 10 and you won’t have any issues with acrorip 9. Acrorip 9 is a pirated version, doesn’t matter where you get it. So, if you’re looking for something trusted, Cadlink and Acrorip 10 are the way to go
