It's strange... DirecTV Stream was available first...which is online service only separate from the Directv Satellite service. But last week I noticed the actually DirecTV app for people that have the satellite service was now available and the Directv Stream app was gone....but I heard on some other devices it gives you the option to choose the service you have...
I also tried it on a Roku...the Roku gives you more info saying that if you get either Stream or Satellite just put your credentials and it will figure out which account you have. Also the Roku Directv app seems smoother compared to the AndroidTv/GoogleTv.
@@dharlow5810 for some reason I only see Directv app for Satellite and not Stream on my Google TV...I heard some other devices have the option to choose either stream or satellite from the same app.
