Welcome to my new video series titled "DIRECTED BY STEVEN SPIELBERG". In this series, we will be reviewing and analysing all 34 Spielberg-directed films, as an homage to the greatest filmmaker of all time. The thirteenth film in his filmography is Hook, the 1991 Fantasy-Adventure. Come along with me on this adventure as we delve into the mind of Steven Spielberg.

Never watched Hook. Just never looked too appealing to me. Judging by your review, I should probably give it a miss.

Yes I think it’s definitely the kind of film that if you grew up with it, it would probably still be great to watch now for the nostalgia. But watching for the first time now as an adult, I don’t feel there’s much to gain. I’d probably watch it with my kids one day though…
