This might be one of the most beautiful and informative videos. I have seen in a very long time I might just have to put this on loop in the background while I’m doing other things because it was ridiculously well-made and thought out watching someone who understands their craft explain it like thisand focus on a few aspects and their connections with this level of depth and conveyance of their meaning is absolutely astounding. Thank you and I hope you get as many views likes and shares as RU-vid can offer.

This is the exact kind of BG content I've been looking for. I recently got into it seriously for the first time and while I knew I was doing some things wrong I was struggling to place specificially what it was, and sometimes I just felt lost because I treated enablers as direction and either forced something I shouldn't or skipped key enablers I could have safely bought and then got punished when the actual direction showed up soon after. I think keeping this in mind will definitely help me, and hopefully I can cross that 9k barrier I was stuck at last season.

Yes, more guides please! This was great. One idea for a video is how to ensure you have economy in the mid to late game. Sometimes I get the key pieces of a comp, but I just don't have the gold to push it forward.

Thanks for the guide Jeef! I just hit 8k, definitely helped by your previous guides and streams. An idea for a future guide: time management. It's something that doesn't necessarily come across as much in normal stream dialog, and I think there's a lot of importance in how you manage time, even outside of APM comps. It's one of the main things I've struggled with, having watched battlegrounds more than I've played it. You've also mentioned having to adjust your playstyle for lower APM with bad ping, which was funny to me because I've had to do the same thing translating the BG footage I've watched to my less experienced hands, and a non-ideal mouse situation (I play on my laptop trackpad most of the time). I'm sure mobile players are even more restricted, and have to prioritize high-impact actions even more.

Thanks, Jeef! Great video. I recently started playing BG's two months ago and I am 8k MMR. This video was very helpful for me. One question I always have is, "when is scaling too late?" If you ever have a low roll game where you are just trying to stay alive, how do you know if you can pivot to some OP scaling or if you aren't able to find good scaling in time, so you should just scam and go for a top 4 finish?

This is the kind of content we need, Jeef. We need to know the fundamentals! Please do something like "shopping explained by a pro". We need to get the basics or we won't ever evolve! Thank you

I feel like I tend to commit way too much early on. I usually get around 6K area until hitting hard stop and this might be the reason for it. Thank you for informative video

Jeef you should do a guide on knowing when to gauge your opponent strength based on what tier he is at and numbers of triples and knowing when to cut the scaling and go all in. There are so many instances where I failed to realize I can't out scale the top player in the lobby and got a lower potential position then I would have if I just went all in.

Do you think you would ever watch games of lower elo player at different ranges and explain the mistakes they make? Been stuck between 7000-8000 and am finding it hard to push beyond

Loved the guide, but the undead enable/commit cards had me head scratching...or maybe it's because the reborn cards are obvious, but then it made me wonder what I'm missing in the other tribes.

This is my first season, I’m sitting around 5300mmr. My main problem is definitely the pivot. I feel like I never know what to do when I have, say, a 40/40 card that does nothing to strengthen my team. I know I need to sell but also it’s the only card helping me survive. Is this because I force a direction early?
