Hey, just started the series and loving it so far. Subbed too. As for the part where you were showing that there's a delay in rendering the vue stuff, you could slow down the connection manually in dev tools. (Network tab - dropdown arrow on the right ~ change speed) Again, awesome stuff, thanks for sharing. How have I not known this channel my whole life :)

another way to avoid the render flicker, is loading the vue lib b4 the element (#app) in other words put the vuejs script b4 anything that requires vue to render

I read in the last video about repeating words and people wanted you to do less babbling. I tend to agree now when I hear you talk about the start file and the end file. You talk in circles and repeat the same thing several times but with different words. This is just feedback and meant as support to the creator. I'm going to enjoy the vue-series now and others don't have to point out I don't have to look at it and so on.

Hello Sir, I hope you are having great time! I am new to vuejs and have few questions please... 1. Can i declare a class with vuejs like we do with javascript/jquery. For instance - var ledgerClass = function(){}; ledgerClass.prototype = { firstFunction :function(){}, } 2. How to call a function with vuejs like we do with javascript/jquery. For instance - var obj = Object.create(ledgerClass.prototype); obj.firstFunction(); Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance. :)

What are the pros/cons/reasons to using v-text vs mustache syntax to output text content? Why would you choose one over the other?
@NTCco
@NTCco 7 лет назад
Does that mean on a large page or single page application we have to add v-cloak to every single element? because surely the page will take a considerable amount of time to load completely. Or can we just add it to the body tag? Thanks for the video

could i bind multiple vue directives on same html element ? For example binding v-cloak, v-html and v-if on same element

Hi! I´ve got a simple question, what´s the diff between : 1- {{message}} 2- why do I have to use one over the other? *(sorry for my english)

I feel like v-cloak should be in all elements where vue is used by default in production mode, and disabled in development mode for debugging reasons.

When using angular, when my js are below the html, FOUC shows, but if I moved the js before the html, then FOUC does not shows up, wonder if it will be the same in Vue.

is vuejs as powerful as angular 2 or react? I'haven't experienced any of them
@JacurtisTutorials
@JacurtisTutorials 7 лет назад
I wouldnt say it is quite as powerful. Vue.js was built for people that use Angular.js inside of other large frameworks or projects. So lots of people used to enjoy some of the benefits of Angular such as two-way binding and so they would pull Angular into large Ruby on Rails or Laravel projects. In reality they wanted to use many features of Angular but only used about 10% of its power. So pulling in a larger library like Angular to just add basic functionality didn't make much sense. Vue.js is perfect for those kind of people. If you are already working in a framework you enjoy, you can add Vue.js really easy and take advantage of many of those popular Angular features without the overhead. It is only 16Kb to bring in Vue.js and when you see the power you get for that 16Kb it blows you away. Vue.js also is a drop-in and doesn't require the more advanced setup process that Angular can take. So while Vue.js isnt as powerful, it has its advantages. Out of the box, Vue.js can probably do 60% of what Angular can do. However there are now plugins like Vuex, Vue-router and so forth that you can pull in if you want to get even more functionality and get 90% of what angular can do.

Which shortcut did you use in 13:16 :)
@JacurtisTutorials
@JacurtisTutorials 7 лет назад
Funny enough that isn't a shortcut. There is a plugin for Laravel Blade in Atom that gives you Laravel Blade autofilling. Blade uses the same double mustache brackets for templating as Vue.js does so it ends up being useful here as well. So with the plugin I can highlight text and start typing the opening brackets and it auto wraps it without any shortcuts.
