Roscoe, I like your interpretation of the MV. It may not be part of the BU, but your interpretation does work. The concern of being split from Jin’s perspective is legitimate. Because he’s the oldest and there were concerns in the past few years and even now of him having to leave the group because of SK’s military requirement.

Thank you for being a rock solid individual who can power through all of ARMY’s so, so passionately held opinions and not be dissuaded from staying on your own path and doing your own thing. I am so sad that you felt attacked. I am absolutely sure that BTS would tell you to just keep doing your own thing, with your own intetpretation. I have been in this thing for years and I STILL don’t understand the entire storyline of the Bangtan Universe. We’ll get there eventually. It doesn’t diminish my boundless love for them. I saw this at The Rose Bowl and it was already dark during this song. Watching him fly around with spotlights over a sea of ARMY bombs was so amazing! About the BU…. When people say “you are not ready” it can be confusing. I think a better thing to say is “don’t worry about the BU right now. If you watch any of the videos out of order it’s not a big deal. It’s just that some videos might not make a lot of sense.” They are still compelling and enjoyable. I will confess. Even when I watch them in order I have a hard time following the story. It’s extremely complex. Many K-pop groups have a storyline that runs throughout their discography. It’s a throwback to the days when rock bands made “concept albums” in the ‘70’s. It started with BigBang’s MADE series, and progressed with EXO’s debut. Soon after almost all the big groups were making their own “universe”. Fun fact: Coldplay created one around the same time, before any Korean group did. The song BTS and Coldplay did together is actually part of their storyline! They are a lot of fun for hard-core fans to follow and decipher, but if you choose not to dig all the way into it, you can still really enjoy BTS. I spent a day or two looking into the storyline but did not read ALL the relevant content (the bulk of the storyline takes place during the HYYH era. That is the album series also known as “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”). It definitely made watching the storyline MV’s a more enriching experience.

Hi roscoe! There are usually 4 different versions of each album. For map of the soul there are different color 7's for persona the albums are different shades of pink. For the love yourself series the design is different and theres a letter on the spine. When they are alll collected they spell LOVE YOURSELF 3 albums 4 each.

That 2nd LY Answer can be a different version (comes in S, E, L, F versions) which comes with different posters and photobook (the cds/songs are the same though) More: use your albums as you want, no white gloves please... More: You CAN do BU whenever you want, it is just a story to be unpacked planted in different MVs, the notes you saw in the albums, short films and a webtoon (comic, but that's for last) Not only you are a story-teller (cinematographer? director, actor... thing?), you are big enough to not be drown by it, but thoroughly enjoy it. I have and I do, and PLEASE don't check any "summary", "explanation" stuff. You'll get derailed. Watch it (when you want, this comment means tomorrow or next year) and unpack your own theories and conclusions. And your interpretation IS yours, and it was good and OK. Hello love 🤗 I’ve really enjoyed this! The only thing I kinda want to add is that I don’t really recommend getting into the BU before you feel ready to do so. It is absolutely fine to watch all the content but the BU takes so much devotion, time and energy. You don’t really get through it in just a couple of hours. If you want to really really experience the real BU there are plenty of theories and explanations not only on yt but also books, webtoons, mobile games and Twitter accounts devoted to it. It is considered quite difficult and even most of long term armys are still questioning if they’ve got it right 😂 so pls don’t stress! Everything will come to you exactly as it is supposed to be. If you don’t understand something and you want to know just ask, that’s exactly what we are here for. And pls pls please don’t feel bad for all of the theories you create. This is exactly what we’ve all did before all the explanations came out! Some armys tend to forget that we’ve all been in your shoes before (maybe with a bit more background knowledge) but still…! Don’t let yourself get discouraged in any way! I’ve been enjoying your content a lot! As a media and music manager it gets really interesting watching other people do this! 🤗

I discovered BTS when we started quarantine 2 years ago and immediately became obsessed. They’re addictive! Stumbled on your channel late last night looking for reactions and spent all of today watching everything on your channel. Your enthusiasm and excitement as you discover all about BTS. The early years were extremely rough for them and I’m so happy for their success.

Firstly, there's nothing wrong with the actual Euphoria video. It was a great video so not sure why the big deal? Secondly, this is how you react to their performances. So much fun, indeed!

Aw, Roscoe! It was so fun watching you jam out to the Festa Room Live video! I like when you go rogue! Haha. I'm sure you've realized by now there's no way to make every subscriber/fan/couch crew member happy, so at the end of the day, you just gotta do what is fun and feels right for you. All of us, except for fans who were ARMY in 2013, came to know BTS somewhere in the middle of something. We all had different access points, and branched out from there. So there's no "right" or "wrong" way to explore the rabbithole. Sure, there may be an "optimal" way, that will reduce the chance of spoilers or confusion or whatnot, but if you're in this for the long haul, like most of us are, you end up learning about all of it eventually anyway. So I hope you won't take any negative comments too much to heart. Just do you, as Joonie suggests, and have fun with it.

As far as distinguishing who is singing, I think you will naturally pick the voices up well, as you got their faces pretty quick. Hi Roscoe! I just want to say that I've really enjoyed your journey more than anyone who I've watched react to BTS so far. The thing I love is that your love and appreciation for them is genuine. I have been two years in love with BTS and it's true for me that I have no one else to share them with, so I find joy in watching others as they discover and fall in love with them. That said, I want to let you know that no matter what order or path you take in your journey into our guys, don't be criticized for following your heart in this. It is your journey and we should just enjoy it with you and be happy that you actually recognize their value and appreciate them as much as we do. Also, don't stop giving your own uninformed interpretations of their content, because it is fun to see what you draw from it and to be honest, you're never really as far off as others have made it seem. Your assessment of the BU Euphoria video was actually in the ball park, being that you had no knowledge of the BU and still came to the conclusion that it must be about how they are better together than apart, was pretty darn good. That is in essence the premise of the BU storyline, without getting into the other elements of the story. Anyway, don't know if you will see this, but I just wanted to encourage you in this. This week he will be releasing his new OST “Stay Alive” for their graphic novel Chakho. There’s a preview of it in the actual webtoons chapter but the full version is out this weekend. Suga produced it and JK does the vocals. It’s beautiful.

I also buy BTS albums primarily for listening in the car (mine has a CD/MP3 player on it), and driving has never been so enjoyable. I don’t even mind the traffic anymore. 😊 So many generous ARMYs out there! Thank you to whoever gave you the albums. That was a truly wonderful gesture, and so worth it to give them to someone who’ll enjoy them so much. So enjoying your videos, Roscoe! Watching your enjoyment is so much fun. Keep up the good work.

I think the reason people want you to react to lyric videos is just for you to react to the lyrics themselves. I definitely don't think it's necessary at this point yet. There are so many videos for you to see still that you will definitely enjoy more.

You might want to think about a BE album listening/watching party. This is their 'Covid lockdown' album so they tell a story through the whole thing and it works brilliantly listened to in order. There are m/v's, live performances, mtv performances, behind the scenes episodes etc. I don't want to give too much away but this really tells the story of everyone's feelings in 2020. I am sure ARMY will agree!💜

I would suggest adding some kind of "No spoilers please" disclaimer at the beginning of your videos. bts fans tend to be very enthusiastic and will spill the info on just about everything if you give them the chance.

Let's admit it, most Armys don't have a Couch Crew to guide them through what they should or should not be watching, or the order in which to watch, so baby Army growth happens organically. There is no right or wrong way to do this, and you shouldn't be getting any mean comments about it. If you do, please feel free to tell the Couch Crew to shush! And by the way, I love that you are slowly getting introduced to BTS Merch. If this keeps on, it's going to quickly come to a point where owning merch is going to feel normal, and THAT is a rabbit hole you might not recover from. I will say a big part of the power of BTS is their story telling such that the BU is something people stumble into which can confuse or frustrate new folks which is why we caution against.

In the BE package is a print of a blue painting done by Suga. He transformed a thought into a soundwave and painted it during livestreams (the original piece is 2 yards tall). He named the piece "Morning", for when he had the thought. But he won't reveal what the thought was.

Hey buddy! I'm a silent viewer here since the beginning of your journey and I love the way you react because I remember the same reaction when I first knew BTS and that is during pandemic. They lift me up and my energy everyday is same as yours whenever I'm watching a video of them or just a Run BTS episodes. I really wanted to get some of their merch but couldn't. The main reason ARMY would suggest that you watch/listen to colour-coded lyric videos is not so much about who’s singing, but rather there are so so many really FANTASTIC songs which, not being lead singles or trailers, don’t have any form of MV and there’s no good concert footage of the song. But you do whatever and however you like - we’re along for the ride (somehow the big comfy couch seems more like a gigantic flying carpet😄).
