In November 2019, I found Agust D on a night that I was going to end my life. I stayed up all night binging BTS videos and my obsession with them kept me alive while I combatted depression and PTSD. I love your reactions.

The one in the blue jersey that is always having fun is J-Hope, we call him Hobi. He is sunshine in human form. 💜

I think BTS has three types of dance practices: * regular dance practices (just like a this one, I love to see what each of them think is "comfy clothes" along the years) * funny ones (they usually say "something something ver" at the end) like the Halloween or "appeal" ones which have them following a theme or wearing costumes * special event ones, like for award shows or festivals, which are a bit more organized, sometimes even with camera work and can include backup dancers or an extra dance break or solo performances

Anyone else dying to see the look on Roscoe's face when he watches the dance break of We are Bulletproof Pt 2? Between the aerial and hat trick? Because I'm excited to see him see it.

I just know the more you learn about RM, the deeper in love you're going to fall. He is an AMAZING human being.

They practice singing while running on treadmills. Their work ethic is second to none for real. :) So glad you've found them, enjoy the journey. I am a 51 year old ARMY and it's always so awesome to welcome a fellow older member. I look forward to watching all you're reactions.

Jungkook, the one who is center most of the time in the white tee and jeans is known to run on a treadmill and sing at the same time to help his stamina while performing. He’s a beast 🙌🏻

I never thought that I could become a fan of such a talented group of young people, who carry such a beautiful message to young and not so young peoples. Until now, you have seen videos of his energetic beginnings, but there are many songs and interpretation solo, rap line, vocal line performance. Styles vary from hip hop, R&B, Pop, EDM. Fun fact, Not Today is another great Choreo Beat Saber song, especially on expert plus. On expert plus, they have you doing awesome hand crossovers and rollovers (if that makes any sense) that I've never seen in any other song. Idol kind of has the rollovers a little bit. Anyhow, I know you felt that the cage comment wasn't worth mentioning, but I'm glad you did, because even though I have watched this dance practice countless times, I had never even noticed that, so that was a cool little Easter egg. My point is, don't ever feel like something isn't worth mentioning, because it's always interesting to see other people's different perspective on things, thus the reason why reaction videos are very popular. That and getting to see the first time excitement that we once had is exciting in of itself. You personally are a joy to watch, because your excitement and obsession matches my excitement and obsession levels when it comes to BTS content! In fact my initial reactions to new BTS content (after I've watched it a million times, you know just make sure I did see what I thought I saw lol) is that my family and friends have to witness what I just witnessed, then after I'm done texting everyone I have to hop onto RU-vid to see what other people thought about it. I have the biggest smile on my face watching you get excited and talk about what you noticed and then connect it back to the MV, especially when you see namjoon, it's so heartwarming 🥺I really think you should watch ON Kinetic manifesto film which is more recent from 2020. You can see how much they've grown and changed and became more amazing through the years.

Just to let you know, people often get excited and ask who’s your bias and stuff rly early, but it’s hard to really decide unless you know more about them and see more content so that you can really understand them 😄 And you can have a bias of multiple members, not just one. Also you don’t even have to have a bias, like in all my years of liking them, I’ve never been able to decide on a bias because all of them resonate with me so much, so i would say i have a bias of all 7 of them haha! And I’ve met many people like that who don’t have a bias! But really, even if someone has a bias, being an army means you love all 7 of them equally, just maybe you connect with your bias(es) personality more or maybe you relate to their story/perspectives more, etc

One thing about BTS concerts..they play their music before the concert. I've been to 7 concerts and without fail, when Dope plays, the crowd gets LOUD! They sing along and it's soooo high energy. I just love Army! What a movement! Glad to be alive to see this phenomenon!

The sound of their feet hitting the floor in sync during the fast footwork sections gives me the greatest joy. 😁

Army is a family (bar a couple of toxic fans - I don’t think they are Army) - but whenever people enjoy getting together and sharing some happiness and positivity, someone will always feel bitter and resentful - instead of letting us help them find some joy, they try to make us feel their hate. We are all here for your journey Roscoe, and we will stay with you as long as you post content - Army really loves to see good people discover BTS, if we find a reactor we like, it makes us happy to see their interest grow - and when the reactor starts to really know them and love them, ah - it’s just the best thing ever…You won’t love every song of course, and that’s cool - but you will probably develop some affection for these guys as you go, they are so wholesome (genuinely), such good people, so hard working and dedicated, it’s impossible not to like them… I have been Army for almost seven years now and it’s awesome to see them through your eyes, thank you Roscoe 🙏😊

You *nailed* it - Stamina! The studio practises really allow you to see their movements without distraction and in tight formation! Initially BTS was outstandingly co-ordinated - like machines - as they have matured, they still are but with their own unique style thrown in the mix - always exhilirating!!

every new reactor fallin for BTS makes me fall in love to BTS like its the fxxking first time.

There are these terms in the art of dance called Windows, Pictures, Levels, & Staging. They are visual effects created by the performers.

The sound is fine glad you posted this (I’m guessing an overly fussy directional mic). Their dance practices are so fun and you can get an idea for the age it was recorded in by the room it in. To learn the names use an “Introduction to the 7 members” as other I to to BTs videos more cover their history (also worth doing at some point). We have so many recommendations because they have a fairly sizable back catalog from 8 years of around 250 songs and they are all soo good and with about 80+ dance practice videos and close to that many MVs it takes a long while to even hit their top 20 songs. Take your time, pace yourself and have a great weekend!

I am 56, my 15 yr old made me ARMY like her and KPop fan. Their lyrics definitely help us relate better too. So excited for you to see more! Nice shirt too!

Another fun one! I was cheering when you noticed how Jimin seemed caged in. I hadn't seen that dance practice before, so I watched it last night in prep for your video. And Jimin's caged, taunting-from- behind-a-barricade-he's-dying-to-get- through energy in that part really jumped out at me. Part of BTS’ charm is their amazing ability to emote with their bodies and facial expressions. Any idol worth their salt can sing and dance but BTS just look like they OWN it!

I appreciate you mentioning how positive and supportive this whole community is. Most people early on in their journey tend to use words like crazy and intense when referring to army and paint a picture where it seems like we're all rabid and will attack because of the smallest things. I love that you immediately saw the good in army and recognized that some people are as crazy as they say but the vast majority is loving and just looking to see people succeed, have fun, and learn about BTS.

You said Jimin correctly, however you were actually referring to Jungkook (JK) but no worries you’re doing great. You talked about the guy always having fun and that’s because he’s our hope, we’re his hope, he’s J-hoooooope! You’ll definitely understand this reference the more you dive in. Also, while RM is your bias (for now), I honestly think Suga might be your bias wrecker (for now). I only say for now because as most Armies know, you bias/wrecker can change at a moments notice and go full circle. We also know there are no wrong choices as all seven members are phenomenal! Now for the warnings. ⚠️ There are multiple dance practices/videos that go as hard or harder than Fire and I heard you mention a couple of the songs already so…be careful lol! Also, since you mentioned ON kinetic manifesto and Black swan I’d like to say there are several performances of these songs including two MV’s for ON and while the song remains the same, the performance is unique. Every. Single. Time. Someone once said BTS are their own best backup dancers and it stuck in with me. They really are all about team work. They always give the screen time to the member singing and the rest step back. And vice versa for all of them! They really share the spotlight and highlight each other and I think it speaks so much about their team and their work as a team. It’s always amazing to me

My favorite dance practice is Danger and there is a great Suga moment in that video as well.

Great reaction. The Army runs DEEP it is a loving community, that is very passionate about the Bangtan Boys. They bring light to this world and we are always happy to expose their amazing talent to the world. I’m am over 45 yrs old and I introduced BTS to my daughters. We have bonded over this journey and have been blesses to see them in person 3 times. My journey started in 2017. And when I say TAKE YOUR TIME.. I mean it please absorb them fully and don’t rush. 1) Army’s flock to sincerity. Period. There are reactors who have been reacting for months -years who haven’t grown more than 1000 Army subs because we know it feels like the reactor is forcing themselves to watch these videos and faking interest. I refuse to force anyone to do something they obviously aren’t actually interested in. And I enjoy spending my time with those I can “squee” with. I’m 44 and have leveled up my “squee” skill as high as it will go. 2) I forgot and will come back later for this point. 3) there’s something soothing about the tap tap tap of the Dope dance practice that can’t be beat. 4) here’s where the “treadmill training” comments will begin to pour in. We are a wealth of information. Army are basically Encyclopedias…Books 1-9 constantly checking and updating and reviewing information for accuracy. 5) I seriously wondered if I was the only one who “talked” directly to the boys during…well everything. I’m only 10 mins in…. I’m on a self imposed break… I’m obviously not getting anything done today. Thanks. Lol!

😁 Only 6 months an ARMY but it feels longer. I loved your description of how we’re guiding you through the journey. “ Go watch ON” 🤣 In my opinion, “Danger” is one of their best dance practices. A very early one for them and you’ll see a real difference in their looks, but it’s great! Also, a much later one, I love the dance practice for Dynamite. Butter has an added dance break that Jhope, Jimin and JK put together and there’s a video of a grueling practice that’s worth seeing.

I've been with bangtan for almost a year now. They really helped me get out of the really dark place. I became more happy and cheerful person. They reminded me my passion for music and dance. I also started doing something creative too after being too depressed to do anything. I really see you being true army in the future. I hope you will enjoy this journey :)

This just felt like a nice afternoon with my buddy, sitting on the couch, enjoying a hot coffee while watching an amazing video and chit chatting about it. "Intimate" is exactly how this felt. Love your enthusiasm. It is contagious.😊💜 Don't worry about the names and their pronunciation. You'll get there. I think, looking back to my journey and also other reactors, it seems like the very first name that sticks with us is our bias and then our bias wrecker. 😂 But the others follow shortly after that. And you are right about their dancing styles. BTS were/are known for their synched dancing. But as they matured, you can see how each individual style shines thru in the most tiniest details. Mind you, the only pro dancers in the beginning were Jimin (your MJ buddy) and Hobi (smiley guy). The rest had no dancing background like those two. But they all worked so hard over the years that they have reached a level where you could substitute one by the other and it would still look amazing. I love their work ethic and support for each other. They truly have the best teamwork ever. 👍💜 It is kinda unfair that so much talent is combined in just one group where each member could substitute for almost anything.

I'm late to your journey and a new subscriber. I became an ARMY after watching the Blood Sweat & Tears dance practice. I accidentally found it the day it came out. I used to teach a dance group and cleaning a stomp is SO DIFFICULT. Watching BS&T impressed me so much because 14 feet go up and it sounds like one hits the floor. IT'S SO CLEAN! I know you'll get to it and we'll enjoy it together. 😉 Jimin is my bias and Suga is my wrecker. I'm OT7, but Jimin's dancing attracted me to BTS and Suga's honesty about anxiety made him a special place in my heart. I feel like without those two things, I might not have stayed on the journey to OT7 and loving myself. But each member has something that makes me love BTS. BTW, I turned my 74 year old Dad into an ARMY too. He is just so impressed by their work ethic. I made his ring tone Dynamite because it's now a tie between Dynamite and My Universe as his favorite song. Having fun on the comfy couch, well I've been sick so hospital bed for me. What you said about each one having their own style is correct. I flew to see them in LA on Nov. 27th. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen. My impressions of them: RM was aggressive, excited to be there and super hyped. Jin made me gasp at first because he really is WWH, but he was fun and energetic. V was so happy and also full of energy. JK was beaming, in his element, very strong and sexy (sorry, I’m old but he just was). Suga seemed so large! A big presence of complete coolness. Jimin was surprisingly unreal. He’s so smooth and flowing. He also has his heart on his sleeve it seemed. And J-Hoooppeee! (You may figure out I may have a bias😉) J-Hope was professional, perfection, serious about every move and word he spoke. I love them all and I knew it would be special, and it was. They each one put in 1000% and it felt like it was personally for me. I hope everyone gets to experience them in person some day. 💜

The dance practices are great, my favorite are the ones where they are just having fun, the one you pointed to in the red shirt is V and he is usually the culprit in the funny dance practices that goofs of the most. The very first listen for me of BTS was I'll be missing you and Jimin became my instant bias before I even knew what a bias was. There is something about jimin for me that just pulls me in . And as I get to know him more its his personality he can come off as shy and sweet but put him on a stage omg he comes alive and you can't help watching him or even in the dance practices he does the same but thats just me. Oh and if you want to further down the line see Jimin do Micheal Jackson he does black and and White with Jungkook its amazing. But yes he does a lot of MJs moves. I love all the boys they work so hard and each individual brings a different vibe to the group with their personalities, their singing styles and dance styles . They mesh everything incredibly well to make them the biggest group in the world. It great to see genuine excitement to learning about BTS thanks.

When I see this dance practice n the recent LA Sofi stadium concert where they performed Dope live again, the difference blows my mind! They hv evolved beautifully in all possible ways

California ARMY since Oct 2020 - Dope Noona (noona if Korean, and is what a man would call an aunt or older woman he knows) - 55 yr. - I'm enjoying your reactions and look forward to more. The first guy is Jung-kook - youngest of the group and sang the high note, the second one is Ji-min (loosened his tie, black hat) and in the music video he has red hair. J Hope (blue tank, he's dance leader, main dancer, rapper). Fun Fact - Dope and Fire are concert favorites for BTS. I attended my first BTS concert December 2, 2021, in Los Angeles, at SoFi Stadium - Day 4. They do a medley of the two and the choreography. I've watched many concert clips also, and these are their hype songs that blew up online and got them an international following, and they love to perform them. lmao 100% votes for posting it....OF COURSE. The audio is totally fine! Great reaction! Overall, the dance choreo for Dope is easier technically than other dances like Fire. They have certain dances where it's less technically difficult, but more "fun" just like you said. Just wait till you get to the dance practice for Baepsae, best dance ever haha. When you watch the Intro to the 7 Members, PLEASE WATCH THE OLD VERSION TOO - the one posted by the channel SUGA & spice. It has a lot of good info that I feel like the updated version leaves out, or just doesn't do it as well. It intrigued me so I looked up the group. First MV was Dope and the rest in history. Don’t worry about the names and recognizing them yet. It will come naturally with exposure. we, ARMY, all say BTS finds us/we find BTS when we need them. have had several breaks in the years but the last was the straw so after being declared unable to work due to mental and physical(migraines) disabilities. pratically housebound I stumbled over them in 2016-2018 (honestly cant pin point better because memory and i are no longer friends) and that was all they wrote. they did and are still helping to build me back up. these boys(men now) deserve to have the world bow on their knees to them. --- God I love your honest knee jerk reactions. I was always mixing up Jungkook and Jin (today i can not believe that because they are so different). there is a video out there you can watch just for fun. it is a good way to see them up close "carpool karaoke" with James Corden.This video is kind of a comfort video to me, whenever i had a bad day i am watching it because it is so funny. You can see how they are, how different, how wonderful (RM blew me away, he is so polite, so sovereign) and you can clearly see why JHope is called our sunshine. Just watch it for fun, no need to react to it!

Hi Roscoe, recently I've been watching your recent videos on BTS while scrolling through YT and sat in on some livestreams. I love the comfy vibe you give, your honest reactions and opinions. I'm excited to watch your BTS journey while knowing where you are now and honetly just enjoying more BTS content. Also, RM first caught my eye too when I came across a quick video of their concert. I really enjoy watching your reactions, especially the rewatching and analysis. ARMY rarely has issues with a video being too long. In fact, when you were looking down at the DOPE MV and it was tempting you to watch it again, I was saying, "DO IT, DO IT!" A little tidbit, in the beginning of the FIRE MV when the members are standing around before SUGA jumps over the fence, DOPE is playing in the background. Also, FYI, there are a few MV's/Dance Practices that have explanation videos from a channel called DKDKTV: BAEPSAE, DDAENG, UGH, SPINEBREAKER, IDOL, PALDOGANGSAN & DAECHWITA. There may be others, but those I remembered. The explanations are necessary to understand the many cultural references in the lyrics. I know IDOL has a MV & DP and DAECHWITA has a MV. BAEPSAE and PALDOGANGSAN have DP's. DDAENG and UGH have LIVE performances that are spectacular. SPINEBREAKER has a MV made by the members as a sort of challenge, I think it was from a BTS GAYO episode and it is on the BTSisLif3r_613 channel with English subs. and the LIVE from 5th Muster is on BANGTANTV as a Bangtan Bomb. I just thought I would share this info with you to help you with your selection process. Also, others will correct my mistakes, so you are not searching randomly for videos. Please, try to keep your sincerity, it matters to us.
