People in the stream kept asking how many takes it took to film, and how there must have been like a billion takes. The crazy thing is...there wasn't. They had extremely few takes due to various production limitations like how much time they had, and how many practical effects materials they had for all the smoke and sand. Some of those effects they could only do once or twice and if they ran out, it was done. Not only that, the staircase bit and some of the other scenes were actually improvised ON THE SPOT. Like "oh hey we discovered this awesome staircase, wouldn't it be cool if...". This crew and all the dancers are just INSANELY professional and top of their game. They go over all this in the behind the scenes video, which I'd love to see you react to!
The care that Jackson Wang has with his production crew (Team Wang) is ASTOUNDING!!! I really hope you get a chance to see the behind the scenes of this it's fascinating!!
Omg finally I get to see you react to Blow! Missed it the first time with the lost data and also the recent livestream. Oh, man, this mv is perfection! One of Jackson's best work.
Jackson creative directs all his MVs (he comes up with the theme and look and story) but he does hire very good production crews. I believe he got Daniel Cloud Campos to direct this? His team always had good taste with who to work with.
When I watched this MV for the first time my first thought was "The Greatest Showman" and Panic at the Disco had a baby, and what a magnificent glorious baby it was. Just - chefs kiss 😚🤌
Cruel and come alive are also amazing. I'm sure you've reacted to them before, but I'm not certain 🤔 Blow is amazing! As is Jackson /Team Wang. Thank you for revisiting it again. ❤
and you don't know what this song was live on the magic man tour it was crazy go see more of him Jackson it's crazy it's the first time you've spoken well of him he's a great artist. who was born in jyp but was also an olympic medalist in fencing
You might really enjoy "Whose gonna drive you home". Jackson came up with the concept and directed it. It made me cry whenever i watch it. Storytelling mastery.
LOVE Jackson Wang! My favorite mv of his is 'Blue'. The mv is just beautifully shot in slow motion & I can't take my eyes from it. I just had to have "Magic Man" in my collection. And I've seen so many nice things about him, he's such a gentleman. 💜💜💜
Not only maddie (choreogrqpher) making thing on spot...but also the clothes were made only for the video , like the corset jackson has and clothes were burn onnspot to give the" dead" feel
This song without that provocative eye contact would have been a travesty. And yeah, Jackson definitely knows what he is doing. Love me some Jackson Wang
The visuals these artists like Jackson & DPR do are just phenomenal. Hope you’re excited for the Hybrid from DPR Ian & waiting “patiently” like the rest of us. 😊🙋🏽♀️
I remember first watching this MV and after rewatching it several times I really felt bad for Jackson he probably got wapt'd in the face by the gals hair constantly
This video has BTS. Daniel, from panic at the disco, directed it and they had to trust the guides because they were blind from the smoke and did very little takes. Also was kinda one shot movement shot? Donypu get what insay because i can't explain it
