The entire south korea is heavely influenced by american culture since their independence.. Coldplay are his fav band.. His brother used to listen to a lot of Western hiphop which included eminem, nas, snoop dog, etc.. Thats why he, an acting major, was happy with being a member of a hip hop boy band named BTS..

Here’s my take on that, at the beginning he was singing for nobody and then the little kids sat down to watch and listen, a little by little more people showed up and at the end when he was by himself he was still singing. He will always be singing for us even if there is nobody around and he was wanting to reassure us of that. He will always sing and be there for us 💜

5:40 OMG you have such a point, I've always thought the same thing, BTS explores themselves musically and always talks about different points and opinions, but that's the thing, not always when they're going to make songs about specific feelings it's about ARMY!!! I understand that yes, they are grateful and have this eternal feeling of gratitude, but some of the members' songs, especially in this solo era, were not just about ARMYs but rather a general vision that they have about life. It's like saying that Ariana Grande only knows how to talk about ex-boyfriends when that's not the reality. She has already talked about general topics several times. BTS doesn't write songs with a single intention and that's why they're incredible, because they know how to express themselves about a thousand subjects in a unique way. Not everything is about ARMY, and those fans who think this seriously need to stop with this protagonism syndrome. This is something that fans really need to understand nowadays. But this specific song by Jin was about us. He wrote the astronaut as a temporary farewell song, saying that he would be traveling for a while and he would be back in a little while. And I'll Be There was a song of him saying that he's back and that he will always be singing. It was something really lovely, but generally speaking the members won't always be writing about ARMY but rather that some songs are just songs, people really have to understand that things are things and that's okay, expressing yourself musically is that, feeling grateful and expressing yourself sporadically but not in every word they say and express

It'd represent the trash the haters throw on BTS and Army, and it'd mean "No matter how much trash they throw up, I'll be there, even if you are not here with me". The “piercings” on his face are just face jewels. He pulls it off well. I love that he starts off with just the band then the crowd, and ends up by himself but still rocks out. Jin is going to Jin even after the cameras and crowds are gone.
If you go back through many behind the scenes of makeup times with the boys, they also have had these "Stickers" applied. Jin would even rearrange them on other people's faces. Hilarious. Roscoe, you've probably seen them on the guys before. Just didn't remember. You know. Like stars. Or tear drops. Or just dots kind of like these. No bejeweled Jin in the new Live Version. But he fooled lots of people thinking he had a real piercing!!!
