Lee Soo Man was a genius when he put SHINee together. They are a masterpiece whether together or doing their solo stuff. No other group like them.

Key actually designed a lot of the outfits for this MV, as well as his other solo song MVs. he's also been designing some outfits for Shinee's MVs and concerts since 2015. your point about him and Taemin having a lot of creative freedom and trust from their staff is very true. Key has an eye for fashion while Taemin has an eye for choreographies

key is massively talented. kibum is an artist that is heavenly involved in costume design, set design, and choreo, and lyrics and music structure. he knows what he wants and finally after years in SM he has been granted allowance to do basically what he wants and his vision is THIS 🌺

You are absolutely spot on with the diff outfit diff vibe! Its especially obv in the live stages he does them all a little differently based on the outfit Key is heavily involved in the creative direction and styling choices for all his solo songs + often rearranges/alters the song as they rehearse and record

I love the way key is involved with the creative part of his and shinee's art especially the visuals and how he always brings something new and diferent, its amazing to listen to him talking about his processs, that why he's my favorite ps: loved this reaction, I'll be happy to watch if you check some more shinee (members and group)

Key created the costumes with punkyspider. Key has been a fashion director at SM entertainment since 2015, and has made similar costumes before, if you look at "SHINee Sherlock SWC4" you can see he made similar white and gold outfits for SHINee's SWC4 concert. I hope the video Team for this one got payed well cause knowing what you get for a solo shoot compared to a group MV they made this video look like it had 10x the budget it VERY likely had! 🔥

Roscoe knows his music 5:31 I was just thinking about MJ's "Remember The Time" video too!! All of 5HINee members are huge fan's of Michael Jackson especially Taemin. Edit: I hope you get to do a deep dive into 5HINee like you are doing with DPR Ian.

Gasoline was two comebacks ago for Key; he did a repackage Killer post-Gasoline and that is way more MJ-coded (SM had an MJ-thing going on; if you saw/heard Baekhyun's Bambi, you'll know what I mean). He went into an entirely different direction with Good and Great, the promotion was hilarious! But the KPOP industry loves doing homage to MJ, look at TXT with Back For More. And the 2020 MMA BTS Dynamite dance break - again, an MJ homage and we love it!

Killer & Bad Love very HEAVY HEAVY MJ coded to the extend that in Killer (❤) it's basically stated that 'this is MJ inspired'! But I mean it wouldn't be Shinee if they didn't say 'screw that completely different genre this time' every other comeback. At this point if at some point Onew comes out with an album with Evanescence style Metal vocals or Taemin with Boombap influence... I would be surprised but I also would go "yeah that makes sense..." 😅

First of all, Key is a God! Taemin is my ultimate bias but Key trumps him in Shinee. Key's solo stuff is gold! This album, a masterpiece! This video, out of this world. His brain works differently. His input in all of his mv's, songs and fashion are unreal. He even did the end scene surrounded with real fire... I adore him. To be honest, every shinee member is an ace in their own solo genre AND as a whole. Nothing to fault there, Minho and Onew have some amazing mv's and songs as well, you can't go wrong with stanning any of them.

I can never fully understand my fellow Shawols who say they have a clear bias. I found Shinee to be the only group that's essentially 'Bias Proof'! You always think "No he's my bias!' when you see a solo track and the you hear Onew sing again or stare into Minhos eyes while he performs or just see them backstage with each other and you go 'f**** I don't know...' At least that's my experience 😁

@@DarkHarlequin I love them all and I support them all equally but Key's role in shinee leans closer to who I am in a group. That doesn't take back any of the love I have for the other members. Every group has a member you relate to the most and that's the one I call my bias. I am beyond the age of teenage behaviour and choices. I have every members solo albums and I will buy and listen to every song or album they put out. So I don't favor any member when it comes to their music. I relate to them all but key is like me and that is what bias means to me.

But not cause I'm like him (I'm actually more like Minho personality wise if we're honest) but because I aspire to be a bit more like him as a leader and cause I admire how he held Shinee together from the inside all these years without ever being that abrasive 'take charge' person we expect leaders to be 😊

Taemin is my ult because I see him as the baby and because I like him for pushing kpops boundries. He is hard not to love and he gets away with about everything because of that

Solo in his videos he's like this sexy, dangerous, adult, mysterious auteur performer that people admire so deeply. This 'Idol of Idols'! But the second he's together with his Shinee Hyung what seems like his real personality comes out and he immediately turns into 'baby cheese Taemin' who needs looking after but can get away with anything 😁💕

Fun fact. Though there was much cgi used the actual sets were real. They were built specifically for the mv. Not only are our boys creative they are geniuses. Also if you haven't seen the articles yet. Both Onew and Taemin are no longer apart of sm entertainment. They've decided not! To renew their contracts. Key and Minho are in talks wether they resign a contract is yet to be kniwn. All of their group activities will still be with SM entertainment but their solo activities won't. Any dealings SM entertainment want have will have to be negotiated with them from here on out. Who Onew or Taemin will sign with from the end of the month is as yet unknown.
