They can actually take it up a notch with the song "The Beginning" Luxury Disease Japan Tour 2023. It's one of Taka's favorite songs to perform. I truly enjoy your reactions and I really hope that we get to see you react to OOR much more frequently. You could react to them everyday and it would take about 3 months to see out every song they've released.

I was at two shows in 2017 - one before Chester's passing and one after. The moment of silence is purely a power move of Taka's vocals and to build the tension. The band did honor Chester by changing the set list to perform One More Light by LP (they swapped out Hard to Love.) OOR had been set to go on tour with Linkin Park later that year. This same album Take what you want is from, Mike Shinoda produced the song One Way Ticket. Taka later performed at Chester's memorial concert.

I wonder if you've seen the documentary about the concert they had during pandemic... It'll give you an insider view into their creative process. How they keep the audience in the planning, Taka especially.

I found your first OOR reaction right when I discovered them a couple months ago….it was the first time I heard Take What You Want…..😳 I rewatch that reaction all the time and still tear up every time. Taka’s voice…the group…the alt rock sound that I have loved since I was a teen (I’m 44 now…🙂)…meaningful lyrics…OOR makes me feel……alive.❤️

I love seeing Roscoe falling deeper and deeper into OOR rabbit hole. Just saw them live last Dec for the 1st time and taka was fantastic... 100% an energetic performer but his vocal never faltered. No matter what the crowd size is, OOR always brings their emotions and energy 🤍

Thank you so much for loving “Take What You Want”...and John, he fell in love with OOR from his first reaction to this song and went to their Tokyo Dome concert last November. Linkin Park and OOR were supposed to perform together at the US and JP concerts in 2017, but it was canceled due to Chester's passing...Taka's dream did not come true. Taka was invited to a memorial concert in LA, performed “Somewhere I Belong” Linkin Park recognizes OOR's talent in an interview with Taka. Please check them out on RU-vid 😊 If OOR had played with Linkin Park they would have been more famous... They are a really talented band with an 18 year career. But thanks to you Reactors, OOR's music is definitely reaching the world ❤ I hope their big dreams come true ❤❤

you may want to go deeper into OOR discography. they have heavier songs such as mightly long fall (ambitions 2018) deeper deeper (yokohama arena) one by one (saitama super arena) 3xxxv5, take me to the top (saitama super arena) cry out (ambitions 2018) ending story (orchestra 2018) make it out alive (1chance festival 2023)

As a SUPER fan Take What You Want is probably their single pinnacle (though We Are 18 Fes version is pretty special as is C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. from the Field of Wonder 2020 livestream concert). But I actually think their last concert recording "Luxury Disease" is their best complete package. Stand Out Fit In is just unbridled joy, Kimishidai Ressha is so infectious with great Taka-crowd interactions, and of course he holds 'the' note in Clock Strikes as long as he ever has. Love the reactions. :)

I had fun reading the chat, other ppls first listeninng to them :D Before singing ‘hard to love’ in a clip from Munich, ppl were shouting ‘love you’ and ofc ppl often shout but the band cannot always reply, this time Taka had a chance to reply ‘I love you to! you guys always make me happy, all the time. This is amazing, diffrent cultures, diffrent language, we’re all diffrent, but you guys, I really love you guys.’

You should definitely check out Decision (live, 35xxxv, Japan tour, 2015). The crowd control is amazing. Also the covers tgey made are very good (e.g. they covered My chemical romance: The end or BTS: Dynamite). 😊

Once people hear them for the first time, a lot of them become instant fans. Did you lose weight by any chance because you look a little different. I like your look in this reaction and you look younger.

the chester bennington thing is not true, it's just a rumour that's been going on in the fandom for an unknown reason. taka used to do the silence to build up tension for the following line "silence strikes like a hurricane". they performed take what you want that way during their whole ambitions tour. the actual tribute they did for chester was a cover of "one more light" and taka also sang "somewhere i belong" along with the rest of linkin park.

Roscoe, my man, I always appreciate your OOR reactions and your thoughts about the band as you go further down the rabbit hole Though, I would like to express my thoughts about what you said on this clip, about TWYW and that “silence”. I respect you telling that you have not yet verified the information, but I am here to tell you upfront: the deal with the entire silence during that part of the song being associated with Linkin Park is completely false. From the people who got the DVDs of that concert (which had the info booklets included), to numerous Japanese OORers who have attended the concert itself…. Even from the band members themselves. That info does not exist from any of them. It was just some comment that someone said in one of the OOR videos out in the wild. And they were completely misinformed about it... Yet people still kept talking about it, until it spread like wildfire. The only sole reason why there was “silence” in the song, was because it was definitely a part of the performance. It’s just the classic “call and response” concert culture in Japan where some parts require people to cheer, and, in TWYW, require people to be part of the “silence” in. That’s simply all there is to it. It’s just how you behave in Japanese concerts. And still, it is beautiful to be part of such. I hope this can help clear out some of your inquiries. Being a loyal fan for 5, 6 years and going, I have heard and seen few misinformed things that get thrown around every now and then, this being one of them.

I really wish the rumor about the moment of silence in "Take What You Want" being dedicated to Chester would die out and stop being spread. It is completely FALSE. The "numerous sources" were no doubt just numerous misinformed people who all got their information from RU-vid comments written by other misinformed people. You can tell just from listening to the lyrics of the song. It's about letting go of a bad relationship. Is that really something to dedicate to someone you respect? No, I didn't think so😔 So please. Can we let this false rumor die now? It's like every single reaction video to this song has to have someone bring it up.
