At the end of the video,there is a caption saying that it was inspired by Midsommar. So it was on purpose.😂

In 2019, Korean netizens voted Red Velvet as the group with the overall best discography in ALL of Kpop. And it's only gotten better.

The midsommar references were absolutely on purpose. Red velvet is really good at making bops with a little hint of something nefarious lurking beneath the surface.

Red Velvet excels at juxtaposing bright music and b-movie horror. "Russian Roulette", "Peek-a-Boo", "Really Bad Boy" (as opposed to their r&b "Bad Boy"); sometimes they are just witchy "Zimzalabim", "Queendom", "Birthday". Always enjoyable.

I like *Red Velvet.* Their songs are fantastic. I really like their tracks. Their vocals are insane. Their dancing is impressive. I like their rapping. Their MVs are mysterious.

Seulgi is admittedly eye-catching, no doubt about that. aside from being the main dancer and potentially also be a main vocalist, she also dabbed into drawing or sketching. yet, to balance it out, she's a bit clumsy. all and all, an adorable Seulgi-bear.

She was not an original member of the group. Ignoring early 'rookie' videos, their first music video is called Happiness. The song and video that made me a fan is their second MV, called Be Natural.

It was very subtle but the video is definitely not sweet. Starting at 3:03 you can see this girl running trying to escape but she get tripped and falls unconscious 3:09 she sitting covered in flowers (might be dead?) Then 3:24 there's a human silhouette before the sun appears so that girl might've been a sacrifice.
