kung chi pak chi is an onomatopoeia of drum sound but also it’s something everyone can sing no matter the language as what their lyrics say, “with music we can communicate” btw, the outerspace scene is an actual footage by Sent Into Space. they sent a disco ball mic to the space for this MV but don’t worry everything flew back to Earth after.

That microphone in the space is not CGI.. they actually sent one into space. They collabed with a group "Sent into Space" to do it.

that mic pass was so cool too bc that member who passed it, S.COUPS was recovering from a torn ACL and wasn’t able to join the others in Budapest for the mv shooting but they incorporated everything so well and you don’t even notice he’s not there bc actually he’s always there!!🥹

And all of the points Roscoe was talking about (in his director notes) was because SCoups didn't travel to Budapest with the rest of the group, so they integrated his setups through some of the technical shots. Seventeen To The World (And Into Space!)

This is my first time watching this channel, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video.... Carats (SVT's fandom) really enjoyed this mv... 😄👍 Especially since SVT is infamous for having upon their debut one of the most tacky lowest-budget looking mv, since they really started with just "$5 and a dream". (It was to the point that they had no in-ears for their music show performances and had to use their own money in buying normal earphones, if any. SVT is also the first group to be called self-produced idols by kmedia, since they had to compose their own songs, produce their own choreo, and make their performances interesting from predebut. Now they've succeeded because this MV's budget is budgeting. Fun facts: 1) only their 2nd mv filmed abroad. This was shot in Budapest. Their first one was in LA for Don't Wanna Cry. 2) they rented liberty bridge and hired hundreds of extras. Awesome! 3) this mv was filmed in 2 days, and because of their jam-packed schedule, the members only had 2-3 hours per day to learn the choreo for the chorus just for the filming (so some steps are not in the completed choreo). 4) sent to space (name of a company) literally launched that disco mic into space (they twitted about this complete with behind the scenes of how each shot was taken if you wanted to check that out). 👏👏👏 4) SVT has 13 members, but their leader Scoups, had acl injury and needed to undergo leg surgery less than a month prior to filming so he couldn't go to Budapest and had to be filmed in South Korea (and in scenes in a hospital no less😂) He's the one passing on the mic via videocall. 5) SVT is such a good group. They compose and perform songs in a variety of genre so so much of their mvs are just really fun to watch. ❤

In the beginning we see a sad world without music and then it pans to they gods of music (them) bringing fun and music back to the world

Seventeen has become so powerful, back in in 2020 in Left and Right they had to put S.Coups's car into a whole ass rocket launcher and he still crashed, nowadays they just stomp a foot and a VW bus gets launched into space XD

Really cute and catchy song! The scenes with DK's first part, Dino's part and when they are on the bridge - they were shot really close to where I live in Budapest :)

Did anyone else notice that when Dino walked across the crosswalk, the white lines were pressed down like he was playing the white piano keys? It's at 03:15 roughly in this video. The editing of this music video was freaking awesome.

Love this song-music is the Universal language. Kung chi pak chi let's just dance and sing 'cause it's amazing. Color adds to the whole context of universality. I think my favorite part was the slow down with the snail though

I watched a video by the directors of the mv and they said they knew the mv would be reacted by a director for the cinematic (sp) hence they were very careful with little details. So i had to rewatch again and again just to check back the little details i missed

Ah, to read the title... ㅇ (ieung) is silent unless it's the bottom consonant, in which case, it comes off as "ng." In every instance here, it's at the beginning, or before a vowel. ㅡ would sound like a double o. (Room, zoom, doom.) ㅁ is the "m" sound. 음 would sound like "Oom." Taking what we said about ieung already, the ㅇ in 아 would be silent, and the other one sounds like the short A in English. ㄴ as you can see, looks like a nose. So that would be the equivalent to the letter "n." So 안 is roughly pronounced "ahhn." 의 is pronounced "ooeyy," but in this context, it sounds closer to the long E. So that first word would sound like "Ooomahneee." Sort of. ㅅ is called Siot. That word indicates how that letter is pronounced in a word. It's an "S" at the beginning of a word and a "t" if it's in the bottom consonant space. We already know ㅣand ㄴ. So 신 is pronounced "Shin." 음악의 신= "Ooomahneee Shin." Or if you're feeling silly "Oooh ma knee/shin." Literally translates to God of music.
