Oh my gosh!!! Why do I find myself with tears running down my face.😢 This is so awesome 😢 it's not only his journey but some of ours also. Can you relate??? Have you been down that road......so many have, but couldn't put it into words like Suga. Roscoe No, that's why the guys put out the things they did. So others could in some way know we have All been thru things and we need to process it to get over or thru it. They have shated so many things just to help us All. This is my ultimate favorite song in any genre, any language, by any artist and I've never even played the piano. The storytelling, the emotion, the progression of the instruments.... it's art man!!

Yoongi became my official wrecker the first time I heard this song. I didn't even have to read the english lyrics to be moved, I was so hooked by the emotion in his voice. He continues to wreck me with his passion and willingness to be vulnerable in his music. It's so good to see him looking happier these days and I'm glad he's worked through some of his stuff. Smiles look good on him. As for you working out your personal stuff on this channel, go for it. People who aren't into it, won't stay. And you never know how your own struggles and your willingness to talk about them will help someone else to cope with their own. I'm a relatively new Army but I'm finding that most of us find the experience of becoming Army to be a transformative one - I know my life has changed since I discovered 7 Korean boys almost half my age who can dance and sing their butts off, lol. Let your journey happen. Share whatever you're comfortable. Someone will be around to listen. 🙂

Yoongi is such a brilliant artist and a wonderful person who struggles with a lot of things, but his willingness to help others through his music, showing his vulnerabilities, is so meaningful to others and it is why we love BTS. He/they want people to understand that they/we are not alone. That is what makes BTS so darn special, they tell us it's gonna be OK and to use them to get us through, they are there for us. Their music, their shows, their lives, their trips, we can be part of it all or as much as we need, there is something for everyone to feel at home. I have used BTS every day for the past 5 years to fill the emptiness inside myself, to help me through my depression and anxiety. With them I don't feel judged or looked down upon, I feel like part of a family that cares, that understands, and gives their love unconditionally. Roscoe, you are not alone, Army is here for you just like BTS is here for us. We must all lean on each other when we need to. I use you and other reactors, because with you I don't feel like an outsider, I love watching the reactions and see the affect BTS has on so many people. It makes me so happy to know that I am not the only one who loves them, and not the only one who feels their love and how truly special they are. I am 57 years old, and I literally can not get through one day without them. So use me, nothing would make me happier knowing that in some way I am helping someone else.

No matter how many times I listen to this song, the emotion and passion in Suga's voice always brings tears to my eyes. And mind you...I've never liked rap music...that is, until I found BTS and listened to RM, Suga and J-Hope! Thank you, Roscoe, for this reaction. I don't know if you noticed...in 1:30 after Suga says: "You say...", it's now the piano who speaks back to Suga! You can tell by the change in Suga's speaking tone. And in 2:10, if you listen closely, there are 2 voices (Suga's and the piano's) saying: "Don't ever let go of my hand... because I won't let go of you again." Suga is definitly a genius! and I love him so much for being so vulnerable and so open with us! Love to all! Borahae ARMY! 💜💜💜

It's ok to be vulnerable Roscoe...

I need U dragged me into the rabbit hole and First Love cemented me inside. Beautiful and meaningful. 💜 I think the parallels are what BTS is trying to get us to understand. We process things with you as you process with them. And, as I have seen most of the BTS content before, it helps me remember my original process too. We all have parallels. It’s good to understand that.

No not selfish at all. Once things are out of your head and into the world you can see things much differently. And with others you can see things that you could not see before because they have a different vantage point of that situation. And maybe someone else who is struggling and bottling things up will feel that they too can come forward and gain strength from others. Maybe if more people put things out there we would have more empathy for others. The guys always were told that resolution must come from all of them.

OMG YOU DID THIS ONE It's my actual favorite thing from Yoongi although Amygdala is right up there. This performance - he left it all there on the stage, you know? It's so beautiful. So raw and real. I wish i could write like that. And the crowd silent through it all, hanging on his words. I love that you recognize that it's perfect. It is. It's about a piano, and music, and his relationship with music, and the journey of his life so far. He's said before that music was his first love and only friend. It's okay if it's about you too, you know. Suga wanted it to be something other people could relate to. It's about me, too. Makes me cry every time. And man, sharing what makes you vulnerable doesn't drag anyone down with you. All of us have those things. I'm glad watching the performance gave you a bit of that perspective 💜

One of the most intense songs I heard from Yoongi where he solidified himself as my bias. It’s beyond beautiful and how it creates such a crisp imagery. He actually used his childhood piano on stage here it’s the one he is sitting at. Using us as a mirror and being in community sharing yourself honestly isn’t taking advantage of us it’s what BTS themselves do. I think we feel that showing our hardships hurts or harms others when it helps us all see we aren’t alone and ,Amy of us carry similar burdens and histories. It’s why I am so deep into the fandom and the guys because they are honest and real in a way I have t seen from any other artist.

I found out about this song when I started getting to know bts. And I ignored it XD What interesting thing could be called "First Love"? I thought. And then I listened. Since then, Yoongi's songs have been my favorites. He's a genius, no discount. As you say, when Yoongi speaks, shut up and listen. Thank you for your reaction, Roscoe! You reminded me of my love for this song and allowed me to relive those feelings again.

What you've said about yoongi being so vulnerable with us. I'm just thinking about his tour. So precious, that he allows himself to be like that with us. I always feel so honoured. I wish he had included this in his tour.

Roscoe: do you know how many Psychologists actually have inner depression? And thats why they became a psychologist. So many musician became famous for their most vulnerable songs. Without the artists being selffish creating their art or doing their jobs this world would have been way colder. We learn with them, through them, about them. I hope you think about that

Roscoe.there is no crime in being human. You've created a community. Humans are social, and it takes a village to work out shit. If you are brave or comfortable enough, you share and those that are strong in those moments can help in just listening or showing empathy that you are not nuts & those weak in those moments can know they are not alone in struggling and are not nuts. It would be selfish if you were only doing it for money or clickbait, if it was not real. Real, you are simply being human. Now professional ? Well, it's 2023. Who doesn't expose all their stuff? I saw this performance live in concert back in 2017 at the Prudential Center. Nostalgia for sure. 😭💜🎶 Suga is literally a lyrical genius. His passion for music is personified through the lyrics of "First Love". Crazy how you can also hear "So Far Away" towards the end of the song during the guitar part. Plus if you go & listen to "So Far Away" (version with Jin & Jungkook) you can hear them utter "First Love" in the song. Damn full circle for me. Yes, it is perfectly fair and UNselfish for you to work out your sh*t on camera with us. ARMY are here with you and for you, and seeing you work through things can help others to realise they can do the same. I think that Yoongi is a genius to have realised this is the way that he can help ARMY and himself at the same time. I believe there were a couple more lines at the end but he was too emotional to say them and i think it added to the performance. I think it felt so real because it was so genuine. This song made me think again about what have lost in me. My first love. And for me, it's all about learning. I almost forget how glad I was as a kid when I used my brain to think and learn things independently. And here I am in my journey pursuing my degree, 20 years after my graduation in highschool😂

This was one of the first music I heard … along with Shadow and Persona … I cry every time I hear it … you hear the pureness of his music … that it is his first love … it is part of him … it is sewn as part of his DNA … you cry at its beauty … the synergy of lyrics and melody … the crescendo and decrescendo of his voice takes the listener through the journey … Min Yoongi is able to connect to YOUR soul not just emotion … I agree with Roscoe… the soul of the music is similar to Shadow and Amygdala, set me free, Tear….I’m so glad and thankful that you finally listened to this … especially as a musician 😊

Thanks for the reaction 💜! I love this song, it makes me cry, but not in a bad way, it just touches my soul too much and goes straight to my heart from the first chord. This song, got me, and then I got to the guys, but the one that got me to know them was SUGA, without a doubt. This song is so deep and resonates with me, because I understand it, in so many ways and I can relate to it. I love also so much that it's his story, and the song was sung/rapped, written, produced and recorded (he has recording engineer credits) by him. It is simply an unforgettable song.
