What a wonderful interview with Rob Reiner, Rich. I'm with you: I could have listened to you conduct several hours worth of that interview with Rob. A great director, and just seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Very well-spoken, and you can just tell he's cut from the same cloth as his father, Carl Reiner. And it's also easy to tell that he grew up around not only funny people, like Mel Brooks, Neil Simon, and his father, but that they all have wonderfully creative minds as well, for writing, and creating wonderful films as well. I was very pleased to learn that Mel, Carl, and Neil are still with us, all of them well into their 90s. I hope we get to keep Rob Reiner around at least that long. He's brilliant. I have enjoyed all of his movies, even the ones he produced and chose not to direct. Thanks for a great interview, Rich. I'm not a sports guy, but because you have had several great non-sports guests on your show, I had to subscribe to your channel. And I actually enjoy hearing guys like Rob, or Frank Caliendo, talk about sports within the course of your interviews because I feel like I learn a lot. They often have great insights that I relate to more because I'm not a big sports buff. Not saying I've never watched because I have. I just don't follow sports like many other people. But hearing interviews with people one doesn't immediately associate with sports, actually talk about sports, brings in a really nice, very different perspective. I learned a lot from Rob, for example, just based on his observations on the World Series, which, admittedly, I didn't watch. He had several similar thought processes to some thought processes that I've had, mainly, why do some coaches make the decisions they make, which, to someone watching at home, often make little or no sense at all. The apparent reticence to just go with their gut, even when analytics are contrary to their gut, has always baffled me. And the idea that in the final showdown for all the money known as the World Series, or the Super Bowl for that matter, why they would use anyone except their very best players baffles me as well. Sure, you want to give everyone a chance to play. I get that. But, when you're in the 7th and final game for all the marbles, that's NOT the game to give everyone their chance. You need to win. So you play your very best players as long as you can to make sure the final game is a done deal. And not doing that is almost guaranteed to make you lose.

If the Astros didn’t cheat, Yu Darvish would’ve been better and would still be a Dodger
