I really like Wes Anderson, yu know? I mean... I really like LIKE him. Moonlight Kingdom was like the best of all my summer camp crushes made into one beautiful Sno-cone!

I have only seen three of his films so far, but according to what other people have been saying, they keep getting better and better. Can't wait to see what he does next.

***** I've actually seen them all since that comment, and here's my order of them: 1. Moonrise Kingdom, 2. The Royal Tenenbaums, 3. Fantastic Mr. Fox, 4. The Grand Budapest Hotel, 5. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, 6. Rushmore, 7. Bottle Rocket, 8. The Darjeeling Limited

+Jacob Harris Your list is very comparable to mine. I would probably have Rushmore higher though. I felt the same about Darjeeling, that it was his worst but, having a brother, I did like the relationship between the brothers and the setting. Honestly the setting is one of the best things with every Wes Anderson movie.

***** mine is a little different now, but I still think Moonrise Kingdom is far and away his best. And I liked the relationship and characters in Darjeeling as well, it just doesn't size up to most of his other films, which feel much more grand. It could use a rewatch though.

The reason I was here was I just watched Moonrise Kingdom. I want to say it the best as well but Tennenbaums was the first movie I watched of his and it holds a special place. How about a ranking of Anderson soundtracks? Mine would be Tennenbaums, Rushmore, Moonrise, Darjeeling, Life Aquatic, Budapest, and Mr. Fox. I still haven't watched Bottle Rocket yet.

i love how he goes "theres that Truffout (his biggest influence) movie small change" then he says "that was a long time ago" as if to say dont worry bout watching that film cause you'll catch me out, hahaha.. i love this guy, and his movies. Although if you watch a few Truffout movies , you'll see the influence Truffout has on Wes Anderson..

Kids falling in love for the first time. Love... something happy. Kids in Moonrise Kingdom falling in love. Not a single genuinely happy smile. But then again, Wes Anderson does that in all of his movies. Nobody's happy and hates everybody. No enthusiasm.
