DirecTV channel surfing (December 16 - 17, 2003) 

I miss this old Hughes receiver, the UI and the simplicity of life as well. I would have been 10 at the time of this video and I can still hear the jingle that played when I would on the SRS surround option. Had my stereo hooked up to it as well.

My family had DIRECTV for 16 years featuring TiVo.

9 to 10 days before I was born in fact. I showed this to my mom and she got nostalgic. And the McDonalds I'm lovin' it campaign started in 2003 as well
