These highlights show that Dirk didn't have a spot on the floor he didn't like shooting from, and could use either hand. You can't guard guys like that if you can't take away their one move or one spot on the floor. Range, the ability to take it to the rim, the spin moves, the soft touch...he had everything, and then he had the unblockable one-legged fadeaway. Even the best defenders just hoped he missed enough to not get embarrassed by him.
Very quick. People forget, but Dirk was so fast in his prime that he used to play spurts of the game at small forward. The only reason Don Nelson stopped doing that is because his ankles started giving him trouble. But yeah, in his prime, Dirk was literally one of the fastest players in the league. People laugh about that now because they only remember the 2011+ Dirk.
