After seeing this, I am so grateful I live right on the river!! But, I do remember living in Fairbanks and what it took to just head out to the river for the weekend.
Al Cruncha'. You made a new word M!!! With the Iron Chef at the helm like he was at least you knew you probably wouldn't die.. Probably... Miss you guys
"Sometimes she's a good sport and sometimes she's not a good sport". It's always a roll of the dice. I'm married too so I can say that. I have a friend who has a freeze dryer, and I can say that I think they are well worth the money. He shares meals with us and they are always great. He has many totes stashed away for emergencies too.
Have you ever had your truck broken into while out fishing? Here in New Mexico it’s gotten really bad with people doing that. Kind of scary leaving my stuff in my truck and going fishing or hiking away from my truck. Looked like fun, and the color of the water was such a beautiful green .
Kenai is such a chill town, I've had rods reels cooler and dip net just left in the bed of my truck with no bed cover. Multiple times it's like an Alaska respect thing out there. In Anchorage lol different story, man park at taku Park to get to Campbell Creek with stuff in your truck the homeless will raid it for sure. Or at least take the stuff they can camp in the woods with.
@@RaisedinAlaska oh yea, super sad to see. Trudging deep into Campbell Creek used to feel like you were out of the city. Now if you catch a silver in that water its worrisome to keep it because of all the trash and homeless people using it as a toilet.
Thanks for the feedback, I have lots of salmon fishing videos so I thought I would mix it up on this one. That said, I will change the title because my intent is not to mislead. Thanks again.
