That looked like way too much fun, emmsey still killed it after leaving a few ribs up in the hills, awesome vid bring on tbe weekend so i can ride again 😎👍
Some rough hill there 😮😳 Emmsey is pretty tough i would have sooked and went home😢 editing top notch once again 👌😁 keep well and hope the misses gets well soon so she can join you having fun😁😊🍺🍺
Shit! I've been of the bike for a spell after blowing out my ACL. Glasshouse was my favorite place to ride but it looks really cut up since I last rode. Tower hill used to be easy, even for me! Looks like I'll have to head further north to find something easier on my old knees. Great vid, mend well soon Emmsy
Awesome video. Im fairly new and locla to this. Ive never got up widow maker, did tower hill, done the roller coaster, dales twist, but i have bo ckue where fridge hill or hiltons hill is. 300 exc loves it out there
Mate widowmaker is a hill i will never do and 2 of you guys thought oh yeh i will have a crack . NUTS NUTS NUTS ..The trails and single tracks at the glasshouse have definitely grown since COVID has shut down organised trail rides , So everyone is going bush themselves and the new stuff is like wow , there are some serious hardcore enduro nutters out there to make such insanely crazy lines . glassie never disappoints ,, could you do one on belthorpe IE beacon rd and the welcome to hell hill , love your stuff bloke
Thanks for watching mate we did do a ride down Bellthorpe but that was a couple of years ago so the video is probably pretty dodgy: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6yCJ8gu3MjM.html We don't get down that way very often tho.
Hi mate, i am from Sydney, thinking of doing the tracks there, just started riding dirt bikes not long ago. Keen to explore new tracks. Just wonder if a klx230 or wr 250r will make the tracks? Love the ruts and hills climb (maybe I will change my mind when I am on the track 🤣)
We are riding through glasshouse mountains tomorrow. Came here for inspiration and came away a bit intimidated!! Any tasks you would recommend for South to North travel for 2 heavy laden adventure bikes?
Eh sorry guys maybe a bit late seeing this but sadly I can't help anyway, have only ridden Glassy 2 or 3 times and always been following others. A gpx of this ride would be the best I could do but I don't know if I'd attempt most of this stuff on a loaded DR 😬
@@MVDBR no worries - at the last minute we ended up changing our plans anyway to do something completely different. We waved to you guys as we passed the Mary Valley turnoff - beautiful looking country near you (even from the motorway)
The best dirt bike tracks are in / around Queenstown on Tasmania's West Coast. There are hundreds of tracks with every type of terrain, definitely worth checking it out.
There's some pretty serious trail erosion going on there. Don't laugh, but when it's that bad I build a single track bypass nearby. Let the 4-wheelers enjoy the deep ruts they made.
@@MVDBR What you're going to see is my lame riding! When it gets cold and rainy I ride a lot less and hike more and spend time carrying the chainsaw and shovel all over creation. Unfortunately this doesn't help the riding skills :(
Hey Scott yeah mate I have seen vids of some other great stuff in there, this video should probably be called "The best of what Emmsy knows at Glassy" ;-)
Seen many cops around glasshouse mate? Want to ride but don’t want to get pinched. Worked for so long to get my first bike only recently. Then find out the laws changed and I’ll have to ride illegally if I even want to ride
I literally haven't ridden there since this video like 3 years ago. I do hear that it's not uncommon to run into police on DRZs around there though. All you need is a license and registration 🤷♂
Worked so hard to finally get my first proper dirt bike 08yz250f with a athena 290 big bore kit only to find laws have changed and I can’t ride nearly anywhere now Want to do the right thing but that itch to ride the bike is overpowering hahaha thanks man
@@TheSunnyTrails what laws changed? Pretty sure you've needed to be road legal to ride on public land for a long time. Plenty of people out there riding MX bikes in the scrub but it does come with risk 😬
@@MVDBR I know you can’t on roads but I think you can’t ride in state parks and national parks even if it’s off the roads. What I read was a bit hit and miss but seems like as long as you’re not on ANY road should be fine
@@TheSunnyTrails nope going off designated roads in national parks and state forests is even worse, they don't like people creating and using single tracks. Fuckin fun police 👎
