After having to bail halfway through the route last time due to a lightning storm, we returned for the redemption ride! Along the way we encountered endless vistas, a walkable dam, and loads of rocky, steep, and loose black diamond singletrack trails. Most of these trails are mapped through the US Forest Service, and those that are "secret" are often fairly well-established and visible from other trails (or Google Earth). I loved every part of this ride, but my dad and I both agreed that with distance and technicality both factored in, this is the most challenging ride we have done together. Yes, French Meadows and St. George can have more technical spots, but the technical parts are short. Regardless, what an amazing place to bring a dirt bike!
