On the tension bar for the tracks - you need to install a hexagon jam-nut (preferably a nylon locknut) against the already present hexagon nut that is already there; and that will keep the tension at the setting you have applied. The constant back and forth tension pull against that single hexagon nut applied enough pressure to loosen the single hexagon nut from the tolerance movement that is already there. The hexagon nylon locknut against the other hexagon nut will stop that from backing-off. Any other slack will be due to the tracks themselves becoming stretched over time and usage.

I think I'll try that. Thanks

I’m still on the original tracks with 26 hrs. I saw, on the FB groups, that someone upgraded to steel grouser tracks. I think I’ll give them a shot.

I haven't seen steel tracks on a Mini!

Looks decent for what it is. I’m contemplating buying one to run brush to my excavator because my current load 4wd tractor won’t fit with mini ex on same trailer this would!

I really enjoyed this video. You remind me of my self. From work ethic, too preforming the work, and the way you talked too the customer.

Nice video, thanks for posting 👍 I like your grapple you built there! A lot of the manufactured ones seem to be really heavy and a bit much for these smaller skid steers, looks like yours it balanced really well with that one. Take care 😊👍

You do very nice work. I've been doing the same (cutting down and trimming oaks) on my property for the last 45 years. When I bought my 753 Bobcat 22 years ago, I figured out a grapple added to one of the buckets would be of great help. Of all my attachments I have, the grapple is the best labor saver ( auger, side tilt, backhoe, sweeper and forks). You made a good investment and the grapple works great. Impressed with your work and fun to watch the video.

Nice job. Skid steer helps lots move that stuff and saves you or the need for extra men. Watch those thumbs though, they must go around the saw handles not on them if you want safety features like the chain brake to work…..

That is the perfect size for what I need on my 1.14 acre piece of Florida. That bucket size is nice my the area I need to retrieve dirt from. Great tool for small yards in the woods.

You are fortunate to have gotten that mini for a great deal!! It’s probably already payed for its self. I’m bitting the bullet and purchasing the MT100 with the stump grinder myself should be next week. Thanks for your informative mini video New Sub also

Lady reminds me of my Grandmother, she was kind and fair. I see the handiness in that machine I seen a video on a factory that made them in China they are well made for what they are why spend for a name brand if that wears out buy another one your still ahead of the game, and besides the engines and things are reliable plus fixable.

For a lot of jobs, that little thing is all you'd need, or want really, a skid steer damages yards and can't get into as tight an area. Of course it can't do what a skid steer can, but it wasn't designed to. Good vid.

Hi from Australia, you wouldn't get a bobcat through as narrow an area as that machine. That one advantage.

Man.. you are a master at your craft. Very detailed and careful work you pull off! Nice grapple too. Stay safe and keep up the great work Please let us know how the machine / tracks / grapple hold up after 50 - 100 hrs! I found a private seller in my local area (Edmonton, AB) carrying an SCL850 and an EG380T. Hopefully they have some promise like your machine

Great job and seems like money well spent. For $5000 you can't beat it IMHO? I can't see how spending another $45,000 more will get the job done any faster? Try and remember to lower the throttle before you shut the machine off. Each time you don't a lot of fuel gets pulled in to the motor that does not burn up. Over time it can run past the rings and thin the oil and/or build up inside the muffler and ignite the next time you start it up. Nothing like a loud backfire or 5 feet of flames shooting out the exhaust to remind you Lol. After watching this video, I'm pretty sure that one of these is in my future very soon. The only issue is which one? While they look the same for the most part, the quality of the engines, pumps, welds and assembly seems to vary quite a bit from brand to brand?
@JesseSullivanYouTube
@JesseSullivanYouTube Месяц назад
Yeah, I'm curious to see how it hold up. Time will tell!
