Gotta say this is so much more relatable than the DED! Watching you struggle to remove a seat was great, shows you encounter the same issues as everyone and not just blasting through builds like nothing. DED made it look easy and quick! Excited to see what you and Dave do in the future, keep building!

Yeah every time I touch the thing, I end up getting bamboozled by a certain nut or bolt somewhere. It's cool he leaves that stuff in.

Finally: A video that shows what it's really like to remove a part from a vehicle. Get tired of those videos where someone says now we will remove this and BAM. The screen changes and the part is magically laying in the shop floor like it was so simple and smooth. Not !! Thabks Fred for being real.

Thank you Fred. Seriously, because TBH, as much as I loved DE, the one thing I wished more for was time watching you guys work and build these awesome rides. Dont get me wrong, Im sure everyone can agree that we didnt want an imbalance of the show between work and adventure; I think its safe to say that we all would have wanted a longer show/more air time to dive deeper into your work. However, now, here on YT, we get to see that; how you operate and how your brain works. Just like when the rear seat latch cable was broken and [although] you were narrating, you can clearly see that you were internally troubleshooting what your next move was. Truck/car guys (as we all are) experience those moments all the time, and you've always brought a sense of realism to the show, which is why we can relate and loved it/you and Dave's dynamic so much, because you gave us a sense that we could all hop into a garage and work together equally. Thats what DE did, but now your YT channel does it even more and better, and for that I am thankful for you. We all wish you guys the best and hope you know we're enjoying this. Thank you for continuing and not quitting on us. We have your backs and will support you guys

Time flies by so fast. At first, it's hard for me to believe a JL could have gotten in this bad of condition so fast. But then I realize it's been out for 4 or 5 years.

Hey Fred, I have a 94 YJ, I think you removed the back seat! I went to reinstall it and it's FUBAR, missing pieces, etc. etc. I decided it wasn't worth it and it's now a mini-truck! LOL. My version involved, internet searches, alcohol and Willie Nelson singing, "Me and Paul".

This reminds me of the tailgate latch issue with my 2007 Sequoia. The cheap plastic latch would break, so you would have to remove a bunch of stuff on the inside of the tailgate, including the window motor, to get to the latch to even open it. Once that happened, you had had to remove outside cladding to remove the latch itself. Had to do this like 3 times and let me tell you...IT WAS GREAT. Finally, someone in the aftermarket created a metal latch, which at least lasted longer.
@AJvsEverything

Good old engineers creating problems that didn't need to exist...they literally could have placed 4 mount bolts that were accessible to remove the whole assembly whether the seat could fold up or not...

Maybe am just getting older but a 2018/19 (not sure what year JL this is) is in my brain still a "new car" but, it's interesting to see how this Jeep has deteriorated in just a few short years. I am sure Fred will have it fixed up and looking sharp in no time. I guess it's just an observation on how people treat or don't treat their cars. My daily driver is a 2011 and it's like new even with 110K on it lol
