This truck is the best there is all around. I remember when it came out i bought one. Took it on deplpyment to iraq with me. I have video of it there lol.
You should sponsor Seth bike hacks, he recently tried to send cheep rc car of his backhard jumps and it would be cool is you guys sent him some real rc cars!
I have the Slash 2wd and put bigger tires and wheels on it along with a lift for the body shell. It's pretty fun but, I haven't been able to take it to the dirt yet since the conversion. I'm also looking forward to our local skate part opening back up after they're done repainting it.
Nice vid traxxas I have a Maxx and stampede and I just ordered my ford raptor fox addition and my brother has the bandit and my dad has the rustler 2wd and we love your rc’s!
So sick! Hey @traxxas I hope your giving the trail boss a free rig. It would be a solid trade for constantly breaking the “no dig. No ride” policy at trails. How bout a vid of trail bosses out bashing some free x Max’s?!?!
Yea if you buy this car you will spend 600 dollars but traxxas is so nice I have one but letting you know just buy the ultimate if you have money one day. And if you don’t buy the ultimate you will spend 900 dollars
You know i love the slash 4x4 but it have little problem its the handling because if i turn max at 25 km/h it will do somes barrels on the road but with the e revo it did't do barrels same with the x maxx. Also if i drive in the sand with it alote or sands go on the rc car and you ne to clean or every time and this is anoying for me. So next time do an update to make the slash alote better.
how isnt the body catching any air in my experiance if you do a jump over 3ft the air would catch underneath and flip upside down and usualy ends up in something breaking
@@LegendaryRc how so it has way less weight on the car and my boy said the exact same thing i have the ultimate and it has never one time caught air just by driving it on a flat surface when i drove my buddies 2wd it did it every time I went full throttle my father has a regular slash 4x4 vxl and I've had his full speed a few times and it has never wanted to take flight on concrete or any flat surface so you saying it makes no sense don't change the fact ive never had it happen its all stock so are my fathers he has 2 slash 4x4 vxls n they are also stock besides he bought the big bore shocks im pretty sure that dont make the care stay on the ground so you two saying that my comment is not true or makes no sense don't change a fucking thing or the fact of it has never happened before maybe you guys had some crazy headwinds incase you don't understand its wind from the direction your driving towards either way sorry you have a shitty airplane n i do not i even have 100c discharge batteries 3s 7000mah non traxxas batteries but my father ran his on my 3s 5000mah traxxas batteries i have for my E Revo 2.0 n he also has drove on his traxxas 2s 7600mah batteries too never has happened so u guys saying that it dont make sense don't change a damn thing so thanks for making a comment thats worthless
@@todizzle666 first of all chill bro now think about it they use identical bodies and chassis unless you have the platinum 4x4 maybe you feel one is better at jumps because it feels better to drive or maybe you are just biased if you are talking about why this happens while accelerating(why the 2wd is unstable and even flips) this happens since only the back wheels spin rather than all four like on the other one its cause of the conservation of angular velocity (google it bud) in the air 2wds backflip quicker (you would know why if you took 5 minutes to look it up) so controlling it in the air is "harder" what the original comment was complaining about was the parachute effect short course bodies have in general (it means all short course bodies) so lets recap 2wds can wheelie quicker because ____________ (I hope I taught you something today) and 4wd don't wheelie as much so your problem is with 2wd rc in general but hey you learnt something like the great Jake Paul says "dab at them haters" thought you'd get it cause you'd fit right in his viewer demographic
As a owner of 3 slashes, a Xmaxx, a bandit vxl, a bigfoot, and a XO-1, I can tell you that the Slash ultimate is the most fun for on and off road jumping and racing.
@@orliolguin6653 I'm trying to remember that day... I think we may have stripped a spur gear, broke an a-arm, and MAYBE an axel, but total repair cost... less than $20 (this session was particularly brutal, we don't usually break much at all)
