Given the owners of the equipment probably never greased or checked the machine your repair is perfect. Doing an "as new" line bore and press fit would be a waste of time if it's going to be abused in the long run. If your viewers want to see some real crazy repairs, try Pakistani Trucks on RU-vid. All of your critics will be silenced. Thanks for sharing.

Aloha, thanks for the video. Cool action shots. We just did a similar repair on a D7. Lots of build up and grinding. Our piece was worn a lot worse, so we bent 3/32" rods to build up the center of the hole first and kept the heat down. Afterwards they went strait in with some 1/8" rod. Then they ground a stone the same size as the new 4140 pin and did a poor man's line bore with the stone. It all worked out, but it took about three days! Keep spinning plates. Pick from a place of abundance. Keep them in your frame. You're a high value male with these skills.

@EEJester1586

Make sure the hole is really clean sometimes shiny metal isn’t clean. Can be dirt or oil underneath it sometimes caused them to stick. Use a smaller rod at first like a 3/32” once you lay down a good pad you can jump to the next size rod. Sometimes magnetism can cause arc blow. You can wrap your ground lead around the weldment a few times and make it stop. If it gets worse then warp it the opposite way (clockwise to counter clockwise) hope that helps.
