@@garyhansel7018 yeah, that doesn't mean they can ride it fast though... most riders stand it up too much and ride it like a 450. 250 2t are hard to ride, you hear it from the riders themselves all the time
Never get tired of watching this! The coordination it takes to arc those corners full throttle feet on the pegs is off the chart! Talent! There is no substitute!
Sometimes in the summer when I am at the cottage, I close my eyes and imagine that the mosquitoes are 2 stroke dirtbikes racing around. Beautiful sound.

Guitar gear is similar. You got modern digital guys arguing with older tube analog guys. Ya gotta respect the roots though, and for pure MX bikes, that is the smell of Maxima Castor oil and unburned fuel. BRAAAAAAAAAPPPP all the way from barely not stalling to barely hangin on. Lightswitches are great.
Damn. Couldn't imagine that bike getting ridden any smoother. That was really something. From the bike, to the track design, the riding, the editing, the sound, this video was close to motocross perfection for me.
I watch guys like this rip their two strokes and I realize just how good they are and how bad I actually am lol. Absolutely awesome to watch. I went from a 2 stroke to a newer 4 stroke and then went back to an older KX250 two stroke. Even though there is 14 years difference between my two bikes, the older 2 stroke is amazing and by far my favorite to ride.
This video is nothing short of a masterpiece! The sound of him railing those turns , sometimes standing while maintaining a WFO throttle setting gives me goosebumps everytime i watch it.

How anybody could give this is beyond me. Love 2 strokes Still riding one to this day. Not many 4 strokes guys could pull this. Tomac has my respect. Love it.
@@wheels.and.wrenches WHY? Displacement of a engine is pure! Same engine size is the only factor you dont like! Four strokes would get destroyed running same size motors with frame and suspension setup of now a days! Just because SX made it that way!??? Thats how bad it is in comparison my friend, roughly twice the motor to do the same! They didnt even allow 500cc back in the day bc of the power! Give it a modern day frame, suspension and motor technology, not even close to a chance!!!!!!!!!!!! You are talking over 70 horses on a two stroke compared to maybe low 60s, and thats just using add on to a old two stroke! no new development! Im pretty sure that even four strokes will be fased out soon for the electric motor, how are you going to feel about that????

Eli rides for Monster they would never risk his health to ride a Red Bull event. Its not Monsters fault that Red Bulls star athlete decided to turn his back on his fans, Racing and all of his sponsors so no Tomac wont be there he is going to be getting ready to win a supercross championship when that event takes place.
The only reason Tomac hasn't won the 450 Supercross title is because of mechanical issues,if it wasn't for his mechanical issues the past 2 years then Tomac without a doubt would have won the 2017 Supercross championship and the 2018 Supercross championship cause both years he was way faster than Dungey and Anderson.
Can only imagine what technology of today could be on a two stroke, they almost doubled engine size to replace what once was, put aluminum frames, way different suspension systems and call it advanced! Sorry, put the same size motor on both with all todays technology and it wouldnt even be a race! People have the hard time realizing that a two stroke does everything that a motor needs to do in half the time but displacement(The size of the motor) is still the same! No Comparison! It is only bc how a 2 stroke has to use oil combined with the fuel which gets burn to lubricate the motor is why they got booted or fazed out!
ET3 & JS7 riding this bike is a thing of beauty and a showcase of natural talent. Looks like he needed more power out of it while that bike would kick a most mortals ass'.
Love the four bangers but nothing beats the sound of a two stroke. Especially when you have a full gate! When it drops that sound of the gate cant be beat!
It’s crazy to think that back when I was on 65cc, Eli was racing 85cc at my hometown track in Aztec New Mexico. (Tomac ranch is less than a hour and a half away) Now he’s winning his ass off and I couldn’t be more proud for the guy.
I knew that I recognized that smell coming through the speaker on my ph.Once You get a whiff of that Sweet oil + RACING GAS you Never forget it.Went to a Dirt Flat Track race in 2019,smelled that sweet gas +oil mix + that Beautiful 2 stroke sound and knew somebody was racing a 2 stroke.It's not the same as being at a Motocross Race especially when the whole gate in lined with Screaming 2 Strokes.
