@@billydietrich the Lincoln Speedway race yesterday vs the Williams Grove race was the difference between exciting and boring. Lincoln speedway has more consistency with exciting racing with multiple grooves and more passing as a result. Williams Grove from time to time has this but very often doesn't and is often a 1 groove track with just follow the leader and therefore boring on many occasions to watch as a spectacular and probably very frustrating to race as a driver as well.

@@billydietrich saw on Brent Marks Twitter that he typed that unfortunately the Williams Grove race on Friday is the only race that they can race this weekend so no Lincoln race for him yesterday. He has planned alot of races this year with a mix of PA Posse shows with local and regional ASCOC shows and local and regional WOO shows. But unfortunately for him and his team and sponsors, even with them having deeper pockets and successful family owned businesses then your average PA team, doing this traveling across the country racing, is probably too expensive and therefore likely a change of plans for the remainder of the 2022 season. Just looking at the cost of diesel in these last few years, especially in these last few months is so ridiculous and driving and hauling racing equipment from race track to race track, especially across the country, got to be overly ridiculous with the budget that you have for racing. Just driving on race day has gotten so expensive but the cost of fueling these trucking rigs, especially when compared to a few years ago when diesel was cheap changed everything. Can't see how someone like Brock Zearfoss, who is Brent Marks cousin, and Brocks team and sponsors can stay as a full time Outlaws driver, especially since they only have a small percentage of top 10s as a full time Outlaws driver. I wouldn't be surprised at all if by May or June for him to be back as a PA Posse on a regular basis. If you aren't a successful top 5 driver with several wins on the Outlaws circuit how do you make any money and not lose your ass? This is probably true in ASCOC as well.

All very good points. I have no idea how the funding works with the full time teams on the road in either series. Definitely cost a small fortune to travel with the fuel prices.
