@TF0X58 It has two purposes. The CanAm limits your speed in Reverse, for safety, unless you press the Override button, then you can go full speed in reverse. To change the Power Steering setting to minimum or Max you just press the DPS button as you press the black button on the speedometer.

I never had or tried Can Am. I had Suzuki's, Honda's, Yam's but not Can Am Will it take abuse and I mean abuse like actually using it for work on a farm?

Power too soft down low?? Was this a machine with less then 10hrs on the 75% hp for break-in?

I guess it’s good to have a 2 up. Just in case u need to give a buddy a ride back to hunting camp if his quad breaks down and you don’t have a tow rope

@bestundertaker My 2011 Outlander Max 800R XT has never overheated but it can make yur legs pretty warm.

I have a Can am 650 xt outlander and I destroy anything in its class up to 800s. Go with the can am

the P doesnt stand for power steering. The regular XT has power steering also.
