Very Nice! I purchased 2 shipping containers to build the same structure as you. I knew what I wanted to build and I just happened across your video series. These videos might not be a "how to" but you have helped me out by watching the series. Thanks for putting this series together and keep up the GREAT work!

Hindsight is 20/20. You should’ve bought those concrete mesh panels a year ago. I “used” to buy the $150’ rolls to use for apple tree cages for $109. Now they’re $368 a roll. Ouch.

@douglasthompson2740
@douglasthompson2740 Год назад
@@ryanlangan1060 Doesn't look like it. Looks to be under power just in one place, not the same as floating, which evens out the ground more rather than fixed which just reproduces the ups and downs the front wheels are experiencing.

No true float on the bucket, gotta adjust by hand as you go. So it's not perfect and I end up raking some hahaa

Next time you have an open trench and are laying casing for any infrastructure, try attaching an insulated solid core "location wire," taped along the outside of your casing. The wire can poke up along side your riser, taped along it and folded over. If and when you need to excavate and locate your infrastructure, you can attach a transmitter to the location wire, and mark along the signal with marking chalk spray paint, or just use those funny looking little plastic flags, just stick them everywhere along where the receiver beeps. That's not how I do it, though, that's just how the professionals do it. EDIT: heating a room or house with hot water is called "hydronic heating" and it's more used in Europe than in the USA, which is probably why you haven't heard of it. They have all kinds of decorative heat emitters that are available to hook into a hydronic system, for example a popular configuration is a hydronic towel rack that goes in a bathroom and heats the room at the same time as drying the towel. Also very popular are baseboard emitters, that don't have to go under the floor, but the tradional "classic" hydronic heating system is a bunch of looped tubing under a wood floor, that gently warms the room with warm water that circulates through the under floor system. And I know of at least one person who simply used a conventional tank style natural gas water heater as a heat source for an under the floor hydronic heating system for a large room in a house in the Mid-West. It's supposed to be very efficient, more efficient than forced air. If you look up hydronic heating online you should be able to find a good number of suppliers that can provide emitters and thermisters and all that malarky. Thanks for the content. Keep up the good work. בס'ד
@metaspencer
@metaspencer Год назад
Thanks for all the info man. I love your idea of making the conduit/wire findable in the future: beats digging it up or not digging at all in fear. Great idea. I've been reading more about the heat system and have been sourcing components slowly ... I hope it works out!
