The Four Directions EP represents our belief that music can go in any direction. Music has always been an exploration for us, and rather than try to control where it goes we tend to just let the inspiration flow and see where it leads us. This EP was us settling into that freedom and creating some music inspired by a number of different traditions and instruments that are inspiring to us - all mashed together.

The track came about from experimenting with 808’s at a slower tempo. Blending kalimba (thumb piano) with dobro played by an ebow along with some sound design conjures some of the mysteries of the forest and its hidden secrets. Infinite medicine and beauty are in the forest. It needs our help to be protected and preserved for the future of all living things.
