Hi Jacob. Nice to see someone actually using agitation properly. I did this in my business for 13 years. I had a tank with gravity feed on mine. Delivers the solutions super hot. (Must have an inline tap to control flow). Goos work mate
Phoenix Arizona that's where I started cleaning carpets I'm back here in Florida now they're both great places great places for business as well anyways keep up the good work best of luck to you..................
Very nice job, in case you wanted to update your agitation method. The brush pro 20" is the best agitator i have ever used. It can be pushed with a finger.
Hi tru shine thanks for watching. The buffer I'm using is a low speed floor machine. As for booming once the carpet are this bad the customer just wants it visible clean. Some blooming may occur but the customers are happy they can see there carpets again.
Awesome job!! i use the same stuff ( Flex with citrus Solv and Flex Ice as a rinse) and it is high quality products. Have you used Bio Break with Citrus Solv by the same company (Bridgepoint)? Very good stuff as well, you should try it!! Cheers From Napa California!
Hi Jacob.Great video. I use Prochem Power Burst and have had a few problems with high traffic areas with the wand. Will give this a try and get back to you.Does it really work that well without agitation?
Hey Jacob my name is Floyd,I am floor maintenance at a nursing home , my question is, can one use a floor stripping pad or polishing pad to brush a heavily soiled carpet?
Im a big fan of your work/videos. Im new to a lot of this and Im still learning as I go. Im looking to add either a koblenz p4000 or an 12"to 17" rotary tool to my hot water extraction. Does a machine like the koblenz work as good as the other rotary machines? thanks
I used to clean carpets 5 years ago. Back then flex was a commercial carpet cleaning solution. it was too strong for residential carpets. It would supposedly harm the protective coating on nylon fibers. Has it been re engineered ?
I'm a big believer in thoroughly working the pre-spray into the carpet, but don't you worry about blooming when you use a high speed buffer for every type of carpet? Especially the higher pile types?
I'm using a different driver now with a softer white pad works just as good and no blooming. I'm still using the driver in this video but on tile works alot better with the hard surfaces
I have a 1.5" soft pile carpet and I'm trying to refresh some high traffic areas on it. Would this technique be sufficient, or would you rather recommend something else? Do you think I can get away with just renting a carpet cleaner from local hardware store and use this solution to break away the dirt from the fibers?
Hi Jacob, Did you use a rinse for this cleaning? And what rinse do you recomend? Also are you sill doing VLM CLEANING? If so what are the pads that you are using. Thanks
Awesome job jacob..!! Got a question though...say if you're doing 3 rooms with that method..would you do one room at a time (prespray and agitate) and wand, or prespray and agitate 3 rooms and then go with the wand. The reason is i just dont want the prespray to be dry if i do 3 rooms before going with the wand. How would you do it ? Great vid man..thks
jojo spidey in the video I cleaned 4 rooms and this living room. I pre sprayed everything the came and scrubbed all the rooms. if it drys by the time u come in with the wand then spray the wand over the carpet then start cleaning
I have a house cleaning business and use the Bissell big green for cheap interim cleaning for customers that have clean to slightly soiled carpets. It's taken out some pretty old and bad stains. However (lol) . . . It won't do a tenth of what this does. The Bissell is 400-500? Its been a while. Truck mounts can be . . . 10k and up. The chemicals can be 50-80 per gallon. It's a whole other world comparably. I also have a portable extractor now (the next step up is what he's using, truck mount.) And I have a 175 to pre scrub like he did. The Bissell will prevent you from ever needing to call this guy, if you need to call this guy . . . The Bissell won't help. If you can rent it from Walmart, it won't help.
Hi I have a portable carpet machine ,it's a 400 psi but it do have heat will it clean as good as one with heat and can I use a rotova wand with this machine
Yeah if anything you can get a little giant heater and you'll be cooking with that and I believe if you used a rotovac 360i your portable needs to have auto dump and auto fill. I started with a 100psi portable. but I always used the 175 floor buffer with all my cleaning and rinsed with the portable and got great results.
Sadly we can't use this product on most of our carpets in Australia and New Zealand as we have a lot of wool and protected nylons and the pH of 12.5 - 13 will damage wool and strip the protective treatments of the Nylons and Polyesters
I have some questions and comments... What floor machine is that? What scrubbing brush/pad is that and where can I get it? Comment: I do the same thing with a floor machine and I made it a ton easier by putting the chems right into a shampoo tank and hit the shower feed lever. Have you ever tried that?
Yeah I have the tank I didn't like it. The floor machine is a called minuteman and the driver is a 15 inch scrubber I bout it used from a used carpet cleaning supply shop not sure what it's called. I know maintenance mart has one like it.
The driver I bought at a used carpet cleaning store. not sure of the name but I think it works better with tile I using a white pad now with a 17 inch driver works alot smoother on the carpets.
wow! moisture control come in, can you read me, over? you got talent for driving those spills down. the least amount possible on spills - wicking. if that was a poly you're hosed. have you tried an encap rinse? that is spill heaven and I know many have and will wick back up. Your saving grace in that situation is a detergent/encap meter only and air path, carry 2 qt sprayer of spotter, I'd they don't come out with rinse. MOISTURE CONTROL! The enemy lies in wait in the pad and backing, you just sent it all back in there with over prespray, lots of time power scrubbing letting it all sink deeper. try increasing flow, turn up pressure and meter detergent.sure, metering is not cool but neither is a nasty with a myriad of neglected spills
what is a really great pre spray that you use on daily use? i used flex its awesome just expensive, anything you recommend that you use on a daily basis? ill have flex on the side for extreme carpets just in case.
