Gentlemen. I belive we are facing a new musical phenomenon. The name Dirty Loops will be remembered as one of the best bands of this century and you can write it. The same way we now see young teens with old band shirts, it's not going to be different to the memory of these three young guys. And I am very happy to tell my grandchildren one day that I had the pleasure of being one of the first 100,000 to see this great band arising on RU-vid.

Jaw-dropping musicianship, and possibly even better arranging. They take repetitive, pedestrian dance/pop tunes and breathe new life into them via insane groove, an expanded harmonic vocabulary, and HEART. I haven't heard a combination of funk, pop, jazz fusion ... um, maybe *ever*.
This music is just incredible.Not this one in special, but in the other ones you can hear lots of chrods of Toto, Yallowjackets, Fourplay, its clear that these guys have a great music taste! I really admire this music! And i ask my self, how can lady Gaga be so famous while these guys are one earth????
this is one of my favorite tracks. can't wait to hear it in full length! i love the kicks in the beginning. i actually expected something completely different after the intro but the pads just fit brilliantly. i like the original track as well but you've turned into something completely new & different, making it impossible to compare both versions (at least in my opinion).
***** I asked them about this song when I met them in Chicago last year. Jonah said he thought the rest of the song sounded like crap and they never wanted to release the whole thing. Bummer!

Please, please, please make a proper, full length album with your own songs. You have sooo much talent and a unique and awesome sound that you can do a lot more than "just" cover songs. Honestly, if you make an album I'll buy one for myself, to my sister, to my brother, to my mom and to my pet dog.

They've recently signed a contract with Verve and have already shown them 16 songs, and since then they've been cowriting with some cool people like Steve Porcaro, one of the Porcaro brothers from Toto - expect a really kickass album in the near future!
@Studio99Nashua My God, it's so true. I've never heard such an amazingly perfect combination of catchy pop melodies and incredibly musical vocabulary. It's really stunning... these guys should be the new standard in pop. (I wish...)
@Studio99Nashua Agreed - a great fusing of sounds. No doubt there are elements of Level 42, David Sancious (check out his "Just as I Thought" record), and of course Stevie.

the keyboards to the left, there is still a Db ringing in there, lol, awesome. So what I think I'd almost analyze it as is a Dbmin(maj)7 in first inversion with the E (technically Fb) on the bottom. You have all 4 chord members for it (Db Fb Ab and C), plus that lines up with the Dbmin7 which occurs in the same spot the second time. Honestly, like you guys were saying, this stuff is probably analyzed loosely by the band (like a normal lead sheet), and then the dudes just add tons of tensions
Wtf! 😂 I just now realized this isn't an original song of their's and that it's a cover of a song by Timbaland that I used to listen to as a teenager around the year of 2007! Damn, I didn't realize this, it almost doesn't sound similar at all!
