DIS 5 Years Later 

Daytona International Speedway. The World Center of Racing. The Central FL Region has been running the kart track for as long as I can remember. However, I've never been comfortable on that course, so I hadn't been back in 5 years. The last time I was there we ran the opposite direction, so I have no time for Knight to compare to. I had a great 2nd run but was off course because I cut the corner too hard. I struggle without cones to guide me. But hey, I did get to see Danny Kao at this event, and hear him announce for our Heat. So overall, can't complain. I would have loved to repeat a 48.6 clean or better but again, the harder I pushed the more my nerves went up and the harder it was to keep my eyes up. Another day. Another race. Until then ... stay off the cones!
