Disable Annoying Auto Lock Nissan Cube in less than 1 minute 

This worked for my 2015 Nissan Rogue SV AWD. AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS All doors lock automatically when the vehicle speed reaches 15 MPH (24 km/h). All doors unlock automatically when the ignition is placed in the OFF position. The automatic lock and unlock functions can be deactivated or activated independently of each other. To deactivate or activate the automatic door lock or unlock system, perform the following procedure: 1. Close all doors. 2. Place the ignition switch in the ON position. 3. Do one of the following within 20 seconds of performing Step #2: To change AUTO UNLOCK settings: push and hold the power door lock switch to the position (UNLOCK) for more than 5 seconds. To change AUTO LOCK settings: push and hold the power door lock switch to the position (LOCK) for more than 5 seconds. 4. When activated, the hazard indicator will flash twice. When deactivated, the hazard indicator will flash once. 5. The ignition switch must be placed in the OFF and ON position again between each setting change. Regards.

I knew something like this had to exist!! My tenant has a versa and I'd bet this will work for her. She's got leg problems and can barely walk to her car and sometimes she forgets something in the car or leaves lights or something on. And doesn't always remember her keys. Thanks for the info!

I love my Cube except for the auto locking / auto car alarm crap. Tried this trick and the dash did not flash. Fun fact: you can not turn off the car alarm of a Cube with a key with a dead battery by putting it in the ignition and starting the car.

I started my dads cube when we were trying to move and rolled the window down before closing the door, the car locked with the engine on and keys in it, luckily I left the window down, and they went and got a second key without the remote functions as the original remote never worked for them anyway

Good video but unfortunately I’m not getting my hazards to flash so I know if I’ve turned it off or not. I’ve gotten locked out of my car three times now, once without the keys while it was still running! I guess it’s time to invest in a spare key and magnetic key holder. If these even still exist. lol

Only one only one door locked and that was the passenger door locked and won't come unlocked what do I do

Will this disable auto lock all together or just when you’re at a stop? In other works will this shut off auto and now you will have to open your car door with your key? Or this just disables the car from automatically locking when you get out the car?
