By default, the Google Chrome browser allows services, applications and extensions to run in the background. Thus, extensions and applications require constant access to computer resources and will continue to work even after closing the browser. If you use Google Chrome, as well as browsers based on the Chromium engine, then you need to check if services, applications and extensions are running in the background, even after closing the browser. By disabling this feature, you free up resources for your computer and this will help your computer work much more efficiently.
