Climbed Shasta 2023 Late Summer SE aspect CC started hiking at 1:45AM solo. I have been climbing mountains 25years, don't consider myself superstitious, I often climb alone bc I enjoy the solitude. Your mind will wander a bit in the early morning hours, alone in the dark, on a mountain, nothing surreal about that, helps you find self and your personal demons will come up ie. without any distractions your inner voice is usually the loudest sound. On Shasta that night this was not the case. Started thinking about tribal drumming, felt the presence of a powerful force, the feeling was that I was being observed and the music started, drumming, chanting, song. Started out very low volume, from the east inside treeline. Looked but never saw any signs of people, fire, suspected it was in my head at first or drifting in on the wind. Acoustic waves will travel thru dense cold air ducts and blow in with the wind from civilization up in the mountains, but this was different, like it was coming from a 1000yards or less no pitch shift. The drumming and song got louder and louder as I headed up toward treeline. It became loud enough I was sure it was not my imagination, looked for people never saw anybody but the feeling was the song was directed towards me and I was under observation. Thought about turning around as it was giving me goosebumps and heightened anxiety but I pressed on and when I passed beyond treeline the music stopped. Watched the sunrise at 11000ft had a snack and no longer felt any human presence up there but could see some headlamps far below in the dark. Feeling better and moving swiftly made the summit made and came back down safely. Didn't see anything strange but the song I heard was tribal and enchanting, something from the depths of the spirit world it was thick encompassing and full of energy, but with no visible source. Suppose it could have been new age campers just out of sight in the forest east, but what I heard sounded authentic, anachronistic perhaps some native tribal ceremony was going on at 2:45-3AM IDK. It was all in my head- it was coming from the spirit world. I was allowed to pass thru safely. Stay safe Mt Shasta is a real mountain dont underestimate the dangers. Hiking alone only if you really know its what you want to do, and you are prepared.

I've lived near Mt Shasta most of my life. I have heard all kind of stories about the Mt. No one ever talks about the little people that live on or in the Mt.

@mikegrimm9492, I lived there when I was 5, right across the street from BLM land......we had a mysterious visitor come knock on our front door late at night on our 3rd night there. There was no one there. Tracks led up to the porch in the snow, but none led away.....I have heard the stories, and always felt a connection to the mountain. So much so that I moved back from the southwest, to be close to the mountain when I was in my 50's......

Hi. I love seeing a fellow VA resident covering my favorite topic. I am obsessed with Mount Shasta and have started doing my own research. I'm new to your channel but have you ever covered the Robot Grandma case. I believe a three year old was camping with his parents at Fowler Campgrounds and went missing. He was recovered by the SAR team. A little ways down the line the little boy was visiting with his Grandma and told her "I don't like the other Grandma Kappy" which is what he called his Grandma. Grandma Kappy did a little digging and her grandson told her what he experienced while he was missing. Then things get even weirder because Grandma Kappy then shares her experience while camping on Mt. Shasta. The strange thing is the little boy is now either a preteen or teen and his story has not changed not even the slightest deviation. I don't remember anything about being 3 years old but this experience left an indelible mark so much so he has never forgotten it. Keep giving us great content.

I guess some of the disappearances can be attributed to the lavatubes. These can be extremely dangerous, you slip into a small crack or hole that connect these to the surface and your stuck in an underground tunnel that may have no entrance or exit aside from the hole you slipped through. There are stories of this happening on the islands of Hawaii so it may happen there as well… . This is my theory at last, a great video as always, keep up the good work!
@sophie4636

I was fascinated by your description of lava tubes, so I did a bit of reading up on it. Apparently officials say its rare to fall into lava tubes 🤔 whether that's just to placate Hawaii's tourists, I don't know. Love it as an explanation. It'd go such a long way to explain so many disappearances!!!

Enjoyed the video🙌🙏 I live in Mount Shasta and have been to many of the mentioned locations. Plutos cave is fascinating, there are cave sections between the collapsed parts with the end of the cave going into complete darkness. Mount Shasta is said to be a beacon of Light for friends in all dimensions. That being said, She can have an intense energy that has unique cases for the individuals mentioned, bless them. Beautiful area and I highly suggest visiting, it’s like Skyrim. The castle crags are a few miles from the mountain and have a very mysterious vibe, worth looking into. All the best! ✨📿🏔️🛸🕉️

I flew out from Canada to visit Shasta back 2011 on a spiritual journey. I'm surprised that I'm not another missing person on this list. I was searching all around the mountain by myself looking for a way in. I had no jacket and only running shoes on walking up this mountain. I almost fell into a tree well, and it looked to be about 15 ft deep. I had no idea what a tree well was at the time and thought it was a bear or mountain lion den. Either way, it spooked me! It dawned on me for the first time that this was a bad decision being out here by myself, and being so ill- prepared. I've skied down mountains before, but this time I ran straight down! I didn't care if I went tumbling the whole way down, but I didn't! My legs were moving so fast that I couldn't keep up with them, so I just made leaping strides of about 15-30 ft gaps. It was incredible! I dont even think I even bailed. The people who were parked at the highest point, probably watched me go up the hill just before dark shaking their heads and then seeing me running back down the mountain in moonlight.

Hi Bryan! Thank you for the video! The history of Mt. Shasta is fascinating, the disappearances on and around Shasta were strange, but I hope Karl and Davonte will be able to be found and reunited with their families. The woman who was found on Shasta who was confused and escaped from the hospital was sad, but I hope they will be able to find her and help her. I pray that the family of Dylan Rounds will be able to find comfort and peace and may Dylan rest in peace 🙏🕊️ I hope you're doing okay, I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers! Just have to say, our search and rescue is top notch. However, there are things that have happened up here that cannot be explained. As a local, it bugs me when people refer to "Helen Lake", no it's Lake Helen.. and many other things.. I lived in Mt. Shasta for 20 years, moved to NM for 13 years, and am now back home. This place is my home. I can't count how many days I've been up on the mountain, only summited once, but I can tell you, it's a sacred place. Just saw a video on Mt. Shasta being in the top 10 of paranormal places/experiences, in the US and yes I would have to agree with that. Weird s@it happens up here. But I LOVE it!

I can't help but wonder if the story about that you shouldn't go up on Mount Shasta, actually had to do with that they knew it was a volcano, and then it somehow evolved into a story about not to go beyond the tree line, and it being sacred.

I believe the PCT trail passes next to Mount Shasta and I can never forget how I felt seeing its grandeur. You see many mountains hiking the PCT but Mount Shasta felt different, somewhat humbling and I did not know the mysteries and myths back then. When I arrived in town, I asked the locals and most I spoke to said it’s a mountain nobody should hike. I didn’t know why and assumed it to be dangerous. Another mountain I saw that gave the same feeling was the Annapurna in Nepal. ✌️

I think that the fact of the Lémuriens living there is absolutely true. I ve read previously in Meme Blavatsky s book 'Isis unceiled' and one of Rudolph Steiner but I don't remember its name, that the Lémuriens are even more ancient than the Atlantans. I would so much like to visit them but i also know that to have their permission one has to be on an enlightened level which i’ m still far from. Anyway it has to be a really amazing and super-interesting civilisation to meet⁹ and obviously learn immensely from.......

We've lived at 4100 feet elevation on Mount Shasta for over 30 years. At 71, I still pedal my mountain bike an hike the mountain trails. Two or three years ago, a mountain biker disappeared on the mountain doing some trail work. Only his bike and change of clothes recovered. I can think of at least five or six unsolved mysterious disappearances since we've lived here. One was the mother of one of my students. I don't believe in supernatural stuff, but it seems like a high number of disappearances...

Regarding Carl Landers and why he went ahead of his friends when he didn't feel well, according to the Missing Enigma video, he was an incredibly obstinate strong willed man and a very slow hiker at the best of times. He'd fallen very far behind on the way up to 50/50 camp. He absolutely refused to turn back and wouldnt let his friends turn back on his behalf. So it was suggested he get a head start while they broke camp. They figured they could see him the whole way. But he vanished. Another point is he was actually wearing his wife's hiking jacket so he was clad in pink and purple so pretty unmistakable. I honestly don't think his friends did anything wrong, you can't force a stubborn grown man to do a damn thing, even for their own benefit.

America does not have a national uniform police service with the personnel and equipment to get to the bottom of wilderness mysteries, neither do the public land owners put up warning signs of unusual activity. Wilderness is at the risk of the adults who attempt it. Unusual sightings are seen near many volcanoes throughout the world, thermal boundary effects a possible explanation, or the tall mountains may have been grazed by meteors not plummeting as most meteors.

Sacred Place! I grew up in the area-Shasta county in the 1960s. Moved away in 68’ Region is Sasquatch country. The Tribal history is intertwined with the geography. I climbed the sacred mountain with a friend in July 1980’ East Face-Wintu Glacier route. At 12000 ft elevation we came upon a 3’ wide crack in the glacier ! It went straight down 30’ then sheared off at an angle-Blue Ice. Fortunately it was clear weather and wasn’t fogged in or? If a person fell in there with no witnesses- no one would ever know! We jumped it. Camped overnight up top just below the summit.

Yeah, idk about a lost hidden advanced civilization or anything, but there’s something going on up there. There’s something supernatural or paranormal, or whatever ya wanna call it, about Mt.Shashta.

15:06 im absolutely disgusted by this wanton act of mindless destruction of geological beauty that we're formed after an almost immeasurable amount of time and geological process!! AND in front of their CHILDREN??? I sincerely hope that they are made an example of and justice is served for once!!! People must be aware that there are consequences for pathetic behaviour. Without guaranteed consequence People will continue to behave like morons and we'll continue to witness the destruction and loss of anything and everything that they so desire!!! Enough is enough!!!

The story about an advanced race being destroyed by a cataclysm and then going to a place of refuge(Mt Shasta this time) is strikengly similar to the story of Atlantis. That's one hell of a coincidence.

Very similar. This is about Lemuria, which was supposedly a similar civilization to Atlantis but in the Indian Ocean area I think

I grew up there for 8 years of my life. Been hiking all over Mt. Shasta and went to school there. . The ugly unfortunate part about this beautiful town is that the State of California releases all their sex offenders into this small town with our tax money. A lot of Female teacher touched me when I was younger. Sick town for sure that's explains the crazy people part. Now as far as Aliens and tunnels I believe the volcanic tunnels but never heard of UFO's even though we did see weird things in the sky through the tree line in clear night's. But remind yourself this was during Hailey's Commit in 1997. Would love to move back for awhile to see what the town is up to. But bad memories will always be there. .

I've been in a lava tunnel in Korea while working as an ESL teacher in the mid '90s. Interesting but, I don't like going underground; I dislike caves. Also, there is an area where cars park there & it's an optical illusion wherein cars appear to be going up hill by themselves. Really it is down hill but, looks up hill. Now, I did like watching that. There is a place like that in the US but, I forgot where it is that the cars look like they are going up hill. Google it I guess. Also, a place I wanted to see but, did not have time, it was on the west coast of Korea I think where in the fall the sea low tide runs so far down that people walk across it. The sea parts

I'll definitely check it out and thank you for sharing your experiences. Sounds very interesting! I'm not a huge fan of caves either but Pluto's cave I'd definitely like to check out. Thank you again for your feedback and for watching 🙏

Every legend may have a kernel of truth behind it. The recently concocted tales of lemurians are nonsense, but that does not mean there was no Mu. Mu was the Doggerland of Southeast Asia, Lands surrounding the Indonesian Archipelago were above sea level, allowing humans to populate the area. An early human group related to Neanderthals we call the Denisovans migrated down into this not so much a continent as a huge peninsula. The contemporary peoples with the most Denisovan ancestry are the natives of New Guinea. The Lemurians are the Denisovans.

“… here’s a picture of one in the Mojave National Reserve that was carved out 27,000 years ago.” (13:52) You said it like you were there - like you know for a fact that it was there that long ago. Yet, according to God‘s word - I would maintain that this timeline assertion is based on an erroneous presupposition. How old do you think the earth actually is? Rather than our opinions and unsubstantiated conjecture being our authority - what about God‘s word? For instance, if we examine the timeline biblically of the genealogies, then the earth can be no older than as little as 6,000 years and as much as 12,000 years. Therefore, it’s important to recognize that radiometric dating and carbon dating certainly have its flaws as well as when people try to count things like tree rings and stupid assertions about those tree rings - they are all interpreting the evidence with the wrong starting point because their worldview is not consistent with the Bible but rather consistent with Darwinian macro evolution. in other words founded upon and unscientific opinion like big bang cosmology asserts. This perpetuates the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything. As a Christian, I know that’s absurd on his face and scientifically that it can’t even fall under the category of “theory”. My question really is to you directly. What basis do you derive your worldview, and according to whose authority? Is it the biblical worldview according to God‘s word as your authority? Or is it the secular humanistic worldview based on man’s authority and speculations? I can’t disregard how many times I hear you say “God bless” … “and I’m praying for that”…and talking about God involved in all these things… And yet you really seem to vacillate and waver between the two points when it comes to where you place your world view and the information thereof. How do you reconcile that?
