Disappearing 9-Patch Lap Quilt Tutorial 

I just love doing disappearing nine patch. It always is a delightful surprise. And there are no points to worry about losing in a seam!

Thank you for the tip on where to place your focus fabric in the 9 patch. I haven’t ever heard it explained so clearly. Now the disappearing 9 patch doesn’t look so complicated to me. Tfs!

Dissapearing Nine Patch is my absolute favourite block- always different. I chain piece and instead of doing a straight quilting stitch I use a wavy one - it’s much more forgiving if you need a quilt in a hurry. I’ve done it with 9 different fabrics and the result was fabulous 😁
