Just to reference how fucked up is level 15: I play this game all days since 2016 and my main lava deck was maxed to lvl 14. Since they released the elite level 15 I playing every fucking day managed to only update 3 cards to lvl 15 in the course of a whole year ! Its impossible for me to play any ladder because I always face maxed clowns that have the money to afford LvL 15. Its simply ridiculous bro. Getting a addicted to cocaine would be less harmfull then clash royale …

Clash Royale is so bad it might need supercell to genuinely step in to save it. It is just too far gone for them to turn back imo. New mangament isn’t gonna fix the mess that’s already happened. I believe they’re gonna revert some things.

If you click the shop twice, it teleports you to the actual shop and skips the offers. ( CR knows that the offers are too much, so they made a shortcut). I found that shortcut unintentionally-I wasn't even looking at my shop because of all the offers.

Ryley remember that the lucky drop update was NOT a good update because they balanced it out by removing wild cards from the season shop, making progression way more luck based, incentiving you to buy offers to upgrade the cards you like

Alot of youtubers are talking about it getting so much views, clash royale devs has to change something because every update it just gets worse and p2w (for just 1season since the next season everything is already nerfed)

I'm glad so many big people in the CR community are starting to stand up for everyone. I know a few youtubers have mentioned clash royale's state a bit, but starting with B-rad, so many big people have been making videos. I hope supercell finally notices this

I quit the game a few season ago because of how toxic and unfair the meta had become. As a F2P, I just didn't upgrade cards to level 15 faster, or gained access to the new broken evolutions, the little prince or the Dagger Duchess (you were literally at a disadvantage if you didn't use her). My happiness and mental has never been better than after quitting the game. So if you're not having fun anymore, you don't have to play the game.

The issue is it’s not just supercell, but unfortunately almost every mainstream game on mobile & console follows this update/monthly pass/cash grab model these days. It’s easy to see it with CR because it’s a mobile game, but a lot of the same people who complain about this will also have no problem dropping $100s frequently on the console games that are doing the same thing. Ultimately comes down to which games you like best and what you’re ok with spending money on🤷🏻‍♂️

My buddy saw this coming a while back when the first evolutions came out. Said that Supercell realized this game had exhausted its profitable life span so they started this cash grab that has been going on really since evolutions started. I honestly don't think even they realized it was going to go on for as long as it has, I bet they had imagined people would stop playing CR a couple months ago and then switch over to their new game. I personally have put in my two week's notice with this game, I'm making one last push to Ult Champ while I still can and then deleting, it's not going to be fun anymore when everyone has a level 15 goblin demolisher.

Havent spent a single penny on this game, and will never spend any. Fuck supercell and whoever is coming up with these updates

i feel like the worst part about the new mode is having to upgrade the cards especially the tower troop whom is used in only that mode (which is impossible if you're f2p) to progress and unlock the broken cards which you guessed have to spend money to upgrade and use

Btw, the shop offers are there for people in arenas below 13 too.. which means people can max out champions while being on arena 13 or smth

I don’t think there’s a less competitive game with a ranking system out there ngl, the top players are just the guys with enough money to keep up with this 100$ per month subscription plan, meanwhile there’s probably so many crazy good players who are just trapped behind a paywall so the game isn’t worth their effort

Imagine clash royale without level 15, no cooldown in chests or limits for lucky drops, 2v2 trophy road, and evos being available to everyone the day they are released with insane monetized skins coming out the same day. This would make the hype crazy for a new evo instead of the disappointment we get today.

I think a big problem is that the new “game mode” does not even feel like a game mode. It’s just a king tower that shoots goblins sometimes that’s it. There are so many cool things that could have been done like a touchdown or 2v2 ladder. But we got “sometimes your king tower shoots out goblins”

I dont think i participate in most of the events that use my actual card levels. Which is interesting in that my higher leveled cards cant be given that advantage, but also allows me to play with the new cards in other challenges (i think)

also for the path of queen goblins or whatever its called i find it so frustrating I need to actually upgrade the tower to have a advantage. like im not tryna spend 200K + on gold for a game mode bru

They released a good update where initially u got community rewards and new cards for the goblin game mode, but its such a hassle unless you are level 14 or 15. If they can make rank standard level 11 without making them so locked by levels and money grabbing. Imagine getting an evo u want only to be locked by once a month. evo shards and the evo shards u do get are simply nerfed. Balancing is just a wheel of fortune. Dailies outside of crowns to those maxed out at least SHOULD give gold.

i agree with mostly everything, except for the "play to unlock" part. As most MMO content, for exemple, you need to grind a moderate amount of time to reach the highest equipment tier, like in ESO, RuneScape, Albion, etc. The only real problem with goblin ladder is that, unless you have a bunch of goblins leveled up to at least 13 (and also the goblin queen/baby tower), you wont be able to unlock the machine. But, except for those crucial points, the game is still fun, or at least at the lv11 1v1 mode.

This is supercell, they have been like this since over 10 Years ago. Clash of clans is no different

I think the only reason I still play cr is to try and relive the game that it once was, I always remember how much fun I used to have. It’s honestly like a drug at this point, just that it’s not addicting anymore

I quit long ago when CWA said he's no longer gonna support Supercell with this kind of aggressively predatory monetization, but i kept watching the content because it's easier that way, Piratesoftware said it best, protesting by boycott means nothing if you really wanna make an impact quit it, why stick around to the devs that clearly don't care about you, why suffer through these abuse when they clearly never listen anyway. I left the game weeks before lvl 15 and since then i know i will never play this game ever again. I was like around top 10 000 in the world at some point but i know that now i will never be able to compete without having any evo, any card lvl 15 and no tower troops, like if i would want to play the game again i would be literally forced to pay (my account always was f2p btw) which i dont wanna do. Its such a shame what this game has become the last year or so, truly a pay to win game, pathetic

It's obvious that Supercell doesn't need more money based on how much money the Squad commercial must have cost to have an entire A list cast. Definitely agree that CR could focus a lot more on the F2P community to make it more fair and balanced

F2P players as me we cant push our account bcuz we cant upgrade all cards i only can max out one deck ( hog eq ) and now this deck is dead b cuz the broken card such dagger the op void and the op new cards

They even scare away old players that join the game here and there. When I consider joining for a season and see all the stuff I have to buy after having a maxed account I have zero will to do so. Also, spam meta is so annoying. People just spam, put evo tesla and get away with it. Give players seasonal maxed account for the pass and that's it. Let everyone experience with whatever they want to as long as they pay.

I have been playing the game for four years and when I finally got ig maxed out they released level 15 which is crazy . all of what Riley said are the reasons why I stopped playing the game cause it's impossible to max out a deck if you are a free play player

The way to make a change is get enough content creators to make videos on they don’t need bad publicity. Also, when they did the update, I lost my main account which I I had since Clash Royale came out and had put years of time into, and I tried to contact customer support to them help me recover my account with my super cell ID and they kept saying they couldn’t help me and putting me back to the stupid AI helper so I gave them a bad review

When the level 15 update came, all my cards max level 14 without paying any money . I am not a top player, but I enjoyed in the game with friends, and the journey took 8 years until I reached level 14. When I started playing, my friends at school advised me, and we all played and had fun. By clan and playing as a group. But now I have a bachelor's degree in marketing, and I know that the end of the game is near because they failed in the most important concept in games, which is, who is the new player? Who will advise you to start the game? A new player is a player who is impossible to reach the Max Level, Evolution, Champion Card, and Towers if he pays a lot of money, and this is rare at the age of new users, or he will need, I don’t know, maybe 20 years? 😂 Even old players have difficulty without money. Well, who would advise anyone to download the game? i think they are doing all of this on purpose. the game is dying for so long now. or at least the player rate is dropping since 3 to 4 years now. its like the final step to get as much money out of the game before it lands in the trash can while theyre focusing on actually fixing and updating their newer games. sad as hell, cr has such a nice mobile gaming concept.

This is the problem with not only cr but politics as well. We’ve become cowards that only complain. Notice that we have never received names of the aggressors nor are they ever put on blast for the public, except for the placed figure heads that eventually get placed in prison or randomly die and then we all just have to accept that as justice as the status quote only gets worse and then we complain more and repeat. Edit: after intense searching, co founder lassi leppinen is to be held responsible and oh would you look at that he’s paid off Google just like the rest to have his information private. I dare y’all to try to find anything about the man or of the other lead developers causing your grief. Can we not pretend like everyone didn’t sorta love this update 5 days ago? Or at least like it a little bit? I didn’t- but I was the only one. I knew the new ladder would be boring after a day, all three cards would shatter the game, and clash Royale wouldn’t fix anything before they released another evolution. B-rad was the only one who had the balls to call out the devs as literal dumb*sses. The biggest issue I have with clash Royale is that it’s SO, EASY, TO, FIX. A five year old could come up with 10 great ways to make the game better. Every content creator can, every player from casual to hardcore can, and we have not been shy of vocalizing our ideas. Supercell is very, VERY intentionally going down this particular route with the game, and it will only get worse because they do not care about you. They do not care about us. They do not care about the best mobile game of all time, or what used to be. We need to start mourning the loss of something great guys, and stop being in denial. Just skip to the fifth stage of grief, acceptance.

It's not wrong for Supercell to make money. It is wrong for the game to be *EXTREMELY* pay to win and cost $50+ every update just to compete. There's no reason (except short term greed being valued over the current games state and player base) for cards to cost $50 to max out. It's even more ridiculous they purposefully make them OP, sell as many as possible, and then nerf. Imagine buying a MacBook because it runs really well and then Apple decides to release an update a week later that makes it worse.. you'll feel ripped off. If someone buys the battlepass, they should be able to get that EVO + max out any newly released card. They did so many predatory things that make the game more difficult without spending dollars. Supercell is Supergreedy.

just love how I spent a whole year maxing a deck just for some stupid evolution to make it unplayable I spent countless hours maxing a 3M deck and making it to ultimate champion and since the deck has no evos and void counters pump my deck is just dead

If people pay for cosmetic its fine, but giving people gameplay advantage by giving them so much more thats just pure cash grab and it can be seen as well. They need to fix the amount of advantage they are giving to people who are willing to pay. Its a game after all people come to play and relax and rather they leave the game angry by losing to someone who have payed for all those high lvl cards.

13:15 I tried it and all my level 11 cards got matched up with level 14/15 cards. I just gave up every battle and quit after maybe 10 tries.

I have been playing the game for 8 years, I am also a top ladder player and used a lot of what I had saved up to max Dutchess and other evos to compete, but this update makes the top ladder unplayable. It's impossible to push medals without maxing 3 whole new card troops so all free to play (I've bought a pass or two) players need to fork over hundreds to keep competing after playing the game for almost a decade? Interesting

Since the developers changed, the game has never been the same, what was cool before was collecting the card in the chest and trying to play and level it up, cards always "balanced" when launched, today they are simple broken that literally change the meta to only that card

Problem is, boycotting is impractical and thus we can't have a real impact whatsoever. It's a total checkmate from the devs.

How to fix evolutions (imo) Evos should be unlocked at a certain level of the card not by shards They should be unlocked at a certain level When you upgare your card to that level you unlock the evolution for it The level shouldn't be too high maybe 10 commons and 10 for epics In game they should have a different way They shouldn't be unlocked after cycling the card sometimes because that will cause a cheap cycle meta that no one will like They should be unlocked after completing a task in the match For example You must deal × amount of damage to unlock the evo wizard You can't complete the task to unlock an evo with an evo on the arena Hopefully this system will make player try to use their card wisely and not spam them to get their evos Share you opinions and don't turn this comment section into a war

Ye I have to agree with you when you say how a lot of people tell you to play brawl stars, but it's just not really that fun to me as clash royal used to be. Just imagine how fun clash royal would be if it wasn't ran by people that only want your money and actually focus on making the game fun to play.

I remember, before 15 level came out, i reached top 10000 at the end of season first time. Because i had finally maxed out my main deck, but then everybody had 15 lvl card and i couldnt even get enough trophies to get to top 10k, even though my skill have risen and lava was good in that meta. Lastly, they added dagger dutchess, right after i spent all my wild cards to upgrade Inferno dragon. I deleted the game yesterday. Maybe its ragequit because of meta, but I dont have other cards maxed out to try other decks anyways.

Clash royale is supercells cash cow. I've been playing clash of clans since 2016 and it's consistently improved and the players are generally happy with the updates. I also hear brawl stars is doing well. I tried clash royale for about 4 months. I got to 7000 trophies, league 4 playing logbait but this update made me quit the game. Oh well, I enjoy these videos still. Good video man!

They need to add more fun gamemodes to play 1v1s with friends. And they should bring more fun challenges instead of just showcasing the new evolution that costs 100 dollars

They can just take inspiration from brawl stars. Keep early access offers for cards leaving a path for people to max their cards with enough resources locked over a week time unfolding slowly rather than dumping a shop offer to max it out in one go. Monetise more on skins, towers, cards etc. Lucky Drop can be extended to 3 times instead of one. Lets be real RNG is shit for majority of people, why not make it thrice a day. Fix the pass royale. Rotate game modes so much potential but they manage to fuck it up everytime.

Got introduced to this game by friends 6 years ago...Now I am the last guy in my friends group playing this game..Played this game every day without fail as a F2p.... And for such a ardent lover of this game as me I find this game not enjoyable at all with all these overpowered cards and overpowered evos that I can't get as a F2p.. When i get it after 6 months they are nerfed and there are 6 new evos more op than it..
