This guy is leaking and not feeding. Time for some TLC. I order the rebuild kit and replacement parts from: echo1usa.com/products/jag-arm... echo1usa.com/products/jag-arm...
For anyone who is curious, the method for taking apart the inner shell are the exact same across the secutor arms, tm, JAG, and golden eagle gas shotguns. The stock takedowns will vary, but the tricky internals are the exact same. Great video from URA. A tip from myself...use teflon tape under the hopup "bucking" to help secure it and prevent air leaks. If you want to hop heavier ammo, you can also add some material to the "bucking" so it presses further into the barrels. I believe JHQ uses layers of electrical tape, I used some pieces of adhesive to similar effect. Keep that output valve (it's inside the brass cylinder) cleaned and lubed with oil and that will help stop any leaks down your barrels.
Thank you. All I did was remove shell loading gate. I have the buffer tube version, I only removed it from the shell part way to remove the gate. Put it together. Gas leak. Opened it, o ring on end piece that you specifically mention “don’t forget that guy there” 6:48 was off. Put it on, with more silicone. Still leaking from center. Don’t know if it deformed from the less than half hour it was off or what. I’ve never fielded it yet. Bought it like a month ago or so. Have to figure out why it’s still leaking. So I’m going to double check that o ring tomorrow and make sure it’s on.. otherwise, I hope it isn’t the ones on the cylinder. I play this Saturday for the first time in years so I’m really hoping I figure this out lol
ive recently got one of my own and ive been trying to mod it with a m4 mag adapter and hpa but the seal on the gass stuff has gone weird and it wont hold so im trying to find a fix but this vid has helped alot thank you
do you know if there is any way to convert a TS model in to a SCQB model? i see on the website and some shops have the shorty handle for sale and grip. im more curious if the short handle will work and i dont have to change the outer barrels.
A quick summary: Remove stock / pistol grip remove 2 pins and trigger group slide off the outer shell - watch out for the 3 springs in the video - you may slide it off only partially, but it have to clear the entire door one side of the body where the hinge for the door is is slightly cut out push the doors toward that side slightly and then push the other side of the door hinge into the gun that should free that side of the hinge and then you can wiggle out the other.
My hpa golden eagle m870 is leaking (hpa) from the rear near where that first o ring is. Should I just replace the ORING as I have a full set of replacements
@@smiffy.airsoft.ghillie5861 I have the same (Scattergun) it leaked when I got it. It's literally one screw after you remove the buffer tube. Take it off and the whole back comes off and you'll see that one o-ring. Change it. Maybe used a slightly thicker one if you have one.
I'm having hop issues with my Scattergun. It's overhopping .30 to the sky. I tried .45s from my sniper rifle and they are laser straight. Now, I'm not gonna shoot .45s here that'll cost me a fortune.. I'd like to be able to do something about that hop issue. Have you ever encountered something like that?
@@UnitedRichmondAirsoft thanks, I gotta open it up here soon and have a look at what's going on. I've heard horror stories about the nozzle cracking into pieces into those. It's like opening up a box of surprises. lol
Not sure if that would necessary be it but the little piece which slides on the long thin plate and one of the 3 springs connects them can be inserted backwards. that small part has to protrude into the gun not out. It caused mine to be blocked too, but not in the forward position though
One other option and that now looks to me like the prime suspect. On the other side then are the 3 jumping out springs there is a plastic part which has a "hook" protruding to the pump rod track. When you are reassembling this part sits exactly behind the pump rod. The catch is they are not supposed to be after each other, but the plastic one has to hook into the end of the pump rod - it has to be pushed a little bit forward and the rod be put over it.
