there are no Megalo Strike Back motifs in this song, it's just a really weird coincidence as the two songs are in the same key. The Power Link, Megalovania and Bi-NB motifs are on purpose tho lol
@@batterbagel7248 I like it a lot but I don’t think it quite got the vibe it was trying to to for thanks to all the single notes inbetween the long ones
a literal normal song thing that a lot of songs do have nothing to do with mortal kombat.... that's like saying this song is a reference to gospel because the melody follows BF's vocal patterns
Ways you can tell this was composed by Joan Atlas: 1. Power Link leitmotif 2. Pauses in between beat drops (just like Last Reel) 3. Banging instrumental
1:08 I like that they're singing the "Power Link" slowly and This is also the guy who made "Power Link" too.. Good job for making this song and it's soo vibing just like the power link song
Oh my gosh the beat drops and just beats in general are so great in these new songs 0:27 sounding just like old songs is awesome and 0:38 is sounds so good
I immediately recognised this as one of your songs when I first played the update. I absolutely adore this theme, its so energetic and awesome to listen! I loved the Power Link and Megalovania leitmotifs!
@@cllncl Joan recently confirmed that the Megalo-Strike-Back similarities are purely coincidental. I can hear the similarity, but its not so much as for me to jump to it being a motif.
When I first got to this song in Red Shaggy's week... and I saw those 7 Keys under BF.... I was immediately fear struck. But then... when Red Shaggy started singing the intro solo... I was immediately captivated... Disassembler is by far my favourite song in the Ultimate Update for Vs Shaggy. Being in the key of F major really makes it more emotional. The backing instrumental is fucking amazing, Red Shaggy's and BF's vocals are beautiful... and it's just a vibe all around... nearly made me cry when I first heard it...
@@spunchboob4388 Not much people remember Earthbound,so i rly dont understand why people SO rage because Megalo strike back being called Undertale soundtrack
Absolute Banger of a track! Also I can't believe you seem to have snuck in Megalovania at 0:42, I hadn't noticed it before I came back to listen to it here again
And then I realize that everyone else noticed it before me See, I *could* have figured that out since I am usually bad at recognizing stuff like that, but I *didn't* so here we are, listening to this banger again
I thought power link 2 was just a joke!! Btw very good song, and i hear megalo strike back and megalovania, I am not the only one that notices that right? Edit: Huh? There are no Megalo Strike Back Motifs?
I think the part around 1:44-2:15 is underrated - its chill but its my favourite part i just love it for some reason i cant explain The entire song is amazing tho
0:22 This part that vaguely sounds like Megalo Strike Back is just so badass on its own, like Shaggy takes a step back before spitting right in Boyfriend's face with those last two "dah"s.
Bro, you can't fool me, this song is a full ass reference to megalo strike back! I heard Shaggy sing the beginning melody so many times! This is starting to remind me when I started to heard the among us music on every single EX soundtrack (Bob and Bosip). And the megalovania reference backs down my theory, so in conclusion... I'm nerd for Undertale.
Are we going to keep quiet about the 2 billion Spamdick references in everything Zyphyrus (or whatever) is related to? Seriously, both of his themes (aside from Talladega) have Big Shot and Spamton's Shop leitmotifs. The entire dialogue stuff is super close to Deltarune's, even the font. And most importantly, the plot is that there's some borderline psychotic guy that offers you a deal and after you help him enough he manages to take over a powerful body (vessel) and then fights you.
@@cllncl yes I'm aware of that, the moment I meet Zeph and noticed the background all I could think was Deltarune. You can pretty easy tell where the inspiration of his personality comes from, that is if you have played Deltarune fully ofc.. (and just like Spamton, when Zeph talks about something serious the music gets slowed down and reverb)
I want to congratulate you, between Thunderstorm and Disassembler I really don't know which one I like better, Disassembler IS VIOLENTLY underrated, amazing work and i want to see more of you.
Bro not only is this basically Megalo Strike Back but there’s references to Manifest and BI-NB (Manifests instrumental with BI-NB’s vocals) at the same time. This entire song is so awesome
I remember hearing a small portion of this that was teased on twitter and I listened to that 20~ second clip over and over cause it sounded so damn good.
This is my new favourite song on this mod right now, especially the fast part, the pause, the background music and the mix of tray and doh's fits well, the high pithced voice, this is awesome.
Listing to this song every day for 2 months Day 60... Its done. I've listened to disassembler for 3 hours over this whole thing... Also I want to say I don't do the "listening to X for Y [time]" often, I've only ever done it with Power Link and Disassembler
after fiddling around with this in a music programm, it grew on me more than Thunderstorm but that megalovania bit really doesn't stick itself well to the rest of the song
God damn dude- Amazing work at making a final song! Super hype and the beat is so damn nice- *A close second however- sorry* _Thunderstorm is just too good_
I loved this song! The second half of the song gave me major Scooby Doo vibes for some reason. The beat and spooky background sound kinda just gave me that feeling.
If I went back in time and told my past self that I'd be vibing to Shaggy saying ''Tree, doh'' and other stuff and some kid beeping, then I'd be confused asf
0:38 red is using way more power than in thunder storm so boyfriend has to use his power of his angelic like vocal cords also boyfriends vocal cords can make any sound and he can change his pitch of voice when he wants but i still think hatsune miku is a robot.
I know that was meant to be a joke but Red Shaggy is actually the strongest opponent BF has faced so far. Green Shaggy needed to power up to sing with 6 keys while Red does 7 without breaking a sweat. Which means that Bf is actually going up against a power greater than he's ever seen. All to say, BF is probably actually giving his all for Dissassembler, which explains all the effect on his voice.
This is my favourite song from the mod I was already loving it then then the beat drop happened and I started head banging I mean you even put megalovania in
muy bien! oh my god, i love this song! power link is already my favorite song of all songs and this is tying in first. even though im not familiar with undertale, i can agree that megalovania is cool and that fact you put parts in it is cool. power link, of course. bi-nb, love that song. but one question, why bi-nb? :D oh and one more thing, the very end sounded like the end of the game theory intro. O.O (i suck at spanish btw cuz i never really learned it but my family is hispanic. :/)
