Mine seized up on me and it was sitting in a drawer for years. Disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and now it's like new! Thank you for sharing this video!
Bro, you just saved me 10 bucks, thank you! :-) Tiny parts are difficult to line-up, but somehow, I didn't throw it across the room... I needed this project to take a break from watching the riots on TV.
Thanks! My trimmer wasn't working but I could hear the motor engage when I turned it on. I was able to clean the head out and un-jam the blade with your walk through. Bye-bye nose bush!
Thank you for your tutorial, helped me to unlock the working... the device has been working since 2010 once a week without problems, I'd already order another one because I thought my original device was kaput, but thanks!, I have a spare unit just in case.
I got stuck at step one and couldn't get the orange piece off. It was so jammed that I could barely get a #5 precision screwdriver under one side to pry it loose a little at a time. I'm now on to the next part of disassembling the head.
I see from comments the head was stuck are they referring to the blade itself is it moving is it supposed to move just want to know before i do anymore cleaning
I have same unit. Suddenly stopped working. It was full of hair yes. Butt after taking top off I looked and seen a white clip that the metal ball on other end goes into. In the white plastic there is a pin that slides in. Mine had slid out. When pushed back into the plastic clip instant success. Problem solved.
