Main shop burned after freak 80+ mph thunderstorm... All shop tools, drilling equipment, solar array, most everything needed to work on Fortress Project destroyed.......
I wish to thank all of you for your thoughts and support. Sorry if I have not been replying to the comments as much, with all that is going on I am a bit overwhelmed. You all have lifted up my spirit and it means more to me than you know... God bless you all!
I’m so sorry about this, but knowing you and the team and support you got behind you, we all know you will be back and better than ever! 🙏🏼 It’s only up from here! God bless!! Can’t wait to see the come up and transformation
We're here you Al and will be here to help you rebuild no mater how big or small our contributions are. It will make a difference. You have a support group and cast thats bigger than you know
So sorry to see this happen to you mate. I lost everything I own in the 2019 bushfires in Australia...it rips your guts out and takes a long time to come to terms with what happened. I hope the RU-vid community pulls together and helps you out...good luck to you. God Bless.
As a fellow Aussie that also lost everything, I hope the community pulls together and helps you to rebuild what you've lost. And Matt, I hope you've been able to find a stable life since. It definitely has been a hard road to recover from!
Sorry to be watching this Allen …absolutely gutted for you that all was lost… nothing can replace granny’s material Possessions … but her memories can be kept tucked up safe inside your heart ❤️ Glad your safe and no one hurt 😞
That bambi bucket operator is a real pro! As for the rest of the fire crew, nice of them to come up and stand around. I guess they had nothing better to do that afternoon. Alan, you are an inspiration for command and control of your situation. No matter what you were feeling inside, your strength on the outside was incredible. I am really glad D. Sparks came to your aid. I am looking forward to seeing the rise from the ashes.
Lost a home to fire...This was hard to watch when you arrived. I know the sinking feeling you were having. You are in good hands with Dave and all of us you support you.
I'm such a Mother. I wish I could make it all go away, wipe your tears and give you hugs. God bless you you are a very strong, special person. Just imagine, you're apologizing for not commenting when your whole world is on fire. So thoughtful and generous and still worrying about others❤
Damn man. Sorry this happened man. Just you saying "all the stuff from my grandma".. that hits right in the feels. You can't replace that stuff man. Hope all is well man, keep plugging away its all you can do.
That's a whole lot to take in...keep on keep'n on man...can't wait to see what what kind of phoenix you rassle up from the ashes. Long live the Mountain Fortress!
@@williamuskoski1385 Well, you show us how and we'd all be glad to. At the moment, as YOU should be able to see, that's not an option. I'm hoping they DO set up a direct method.
That is just heartbreaking , Allan. I too lost my home to fire and it took us over a decade to get back on our feet. Luckily I had all of my worktools in another remote shed so I could begin rebuilding straight away. While it may feel like you can't start again after so much effort, by doing one small job after another you will see progress and get re-inspired. Good luck.
Hang in there brother! You got a hell of a lot a people in your corner and you will have help to rebuild. I am truly sorry though for the things you have lost that can't be replaced.
Sorry for your losses, family stuff and years of salvaging all the parts for your trucks. Glad to see sparks and the guys helped you clear the rubble. Hope you get through this in one piece!
*I'm sorry for your Loss Alan* I know some items can be replaced, but the more important ones can't. You have your memories, And you have friends who are willing to help you make some new ones.
Alan, thank God you weren’t in there! I’m so sorry. Fire sucks! We lost our home 8 yrs ago due to fire. Absolutely heartbreaking. There will be a rainbow, you have a lot of support. God bless.
So sad. You worked so hard and so long. You don't deserves all this. I wish it could all be undone. My heart is with you Alan. All I can do is send prayers, love and good vibs and hope that will help in some way. You're a good man and deserve many wonderful things. So wonderful to see Heavy D, and the gang up there helping you. That shows how blessed you are.
Dear Allen you are my f’n hero… As fellow desert ut army dog mech lead man & building official Grief changes your life… I love All that you DO man!! You inspire me and many others to do the right thing. Truth, Love & Freedom 🤙🏼
I see now that HeavyD and crew are on the job. So fortunate to have this new “family” collaboration. Wish I could physically help. Kicked up Patreon pledge and if enough of us do that it will help him greatly. Thank god you’re ok and stay strong and focused. 👍
Saw on Heavy D Sparks channel. Sympathetic to your loss. Thankful you are ok and weren't in the fire. With Heavy D Sparks help, you will recover from this nightmare.
You bet, I'm pretty sure a lot of us would like to contribute, preferably in a way that doesn't involve some third party stealing a big chunk of whatever we send but any way we can, we want to try and help in the only way most of us can. I'm in Australia so definitely the only way with me.
I’m so sorry this happened again to you. Thankful you’ve got some support at this difficult time, what a blessing your friends are... glad you are safe. 🕊🇬🇧
Man bummer, losing tools and stuff is one thing, family heirlooms and Firearms is another! Hope it wasn't too much loss man, I'm sure Dave and the boys will help clean it up!👍🏻 Be safe!
Such a huge and horrible loss. It is always gut wrenching to loose a possession but to loose so many, so much is unfathomable. I love what the Fortress is to become and may all the blessings needed, for that to come to fruition, be provided.
Oh christ, Alan I'm gutted to see this, watching this is breaking my heart.... Hang in there man, keep the dream alive - you have a lot of love and support out here man - praying for you, brother. Keep us posted.
Hi Al, sorry to learn about your troubles. You have good friends and good supporters, and you're a trooper yourself so this will be but a speed bump in your project. The most devastating is of course memorobilia since there was no one hurt. - All the best.. Greetings from Iceland since day one of MtnFortressLabs on RU-vid
... yeah, that Army Ambulance was so cool, damn... I'm also a from day-one watcher, also an Icelander. What a coincidence! Since Allan didn't put his Patreon in the video description I'll just put it here: www.patreon.com/MtnFortressLabs
Allen your RU-vid family are behind you 100%. I know your a humble man, but, we all can help, let us know how. Stay strong everything will get better. Love you man.
I lost nearly everything in a fire set by thieves who decided on covering their tracks by setting a fire. Unfortunately, I was on the road when it happened, it's hell of a feeling to hear your homes on fire when your 500 miles away! I understand how you're feeling right now.
Alan we r so very sorry for your loss Sir. Thank goodness you have such good friends to help you with it, but loosing your Grandma’s stuff is so hard. Praying everything comes out ok for you .
My heart goes out to you Alan. I really wish I could help you, but since I am unemployed and live in South Africa, it is not possible. God blesses you in abundance.
Holy smokes Allen what an absolute bummer. Maybe you should start a GoFundMe to help rebuild another garage/ storage unit. Also I would be more than happy to come to Utah to personally help clean up debris and work no charge.. your a awesome person/wizard and I'm serious about helping you. Let me know 🙂
Good on you👍. I'm in Australia so can only help a little financially but he's done so much incredible work on his own here and actual physical help is something I couldn't do even if I was there but may be more help to him than cash.
Alan, Please consider taking the opportunity and scraping/selling 90% of what’s out there. It looks like a junkyard, but the building is great. Continue on building the fortress, aside from all the extra junk laying around
What a tragic loss Alan but I have confidence you will rebuild and revive in time. I've been thru a storage loss myself and years later I still recall things I lost.
So sorry to hear and see this. I admire you for how you stayed calm. I new to your channel and your fortress will be awesome once complete, still it sucks to see your tools and grandmothers stuff burn, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Thankfully your safe Allen.
Watching this 4 months later. It was heartbreaking to watch all that hard work go up in flames. I have seen the Heavy D video, and I am glad you have such a supporting bunch of friends. God bless you!
Hey Al, super sorry for your loss buddy. Been following you and your project since you were introduced on sparks' channel. Im a block layer out of kansas and Id be thrilled to come help lay some block on the mountain and make some progress on the fortress!! Good luck in your adventures and keep your head up!
Alan I'm so sorry to hear about your misfortune via Heavy D. So glad he & his team were able to come and help you. Sending you all the best with starting back with your projects soon! ☮️
Sorry for your lose, I lost everything in a fire in 1990 it’s something you never completely get over. You have a great family that’s going to help you get back on your feet. I’m so glad you have friends like the Heavy D family.
Sad to see pretty much your entire shop burn to the ground, but at least it didn't spread to any of your other buildings. There's one good thing at least, you have a good team/group of friends who helped you out, so you are pretty lucky in that sense, even if you're unlucky when it comes to fires 😅Sending support from Finland
Just a quick line to say, Alan , sorry this happened to you! And to speak a blessing over you! I'm unable to do much except pray. But my prayers are for your total restoration!
Oh crap! So sorry to see this Al. I couldn't find any other way so joined your patreon thingy. Is there some way to help where some mob doesn't take a big chunk to keep for themselves? Far out, this sucks so badly. BTW, don't write the tree off just yet, some can recover from pretty extreme conditions.
So sorry to see this. Three times is just too much. Keep your chin up. There's a lot of love out there for what you are striving to achieve. Don't give up, better days are ahead. Greetings from damp and rusty Wales
Oh man, I feel so bad for you. To see everything gone like that, it has to hurt. Let's hope and pray that you can replace the necessary items and keep building your fortress.
I have like this video to support you all they way from Denmark 🇩🇰. Sorry to see all your stuff gone and destroyed. Your strong so keep up the good work, and a big thanks to Dave as well for supporting you. Be Dennis
Hi Alan, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have experienced losses too dear Sir. 2019 F4 Memorial Day wknd tornado was worst here in Dayton, Ohio. Front line ptsd is the worst. Memories hurt the worst when you lose those. But I realized what we value and what our kids will value when we are gone is different. We are a rare breed our generation.. Survivalist, we are the ones whose grandparents lived through 20's Depression. We are stronger than we think. 🙏 for acceptance of a favor from above. 🙏 blessings to adapt, knowledge to create 💡, overcome.
The fireman said pull the roof off Alan , so pull the roof down ok your about to get burned , all bad just do what the fireman 👨🚒 says what to do ok thanks BigAl California
I WASN'T SURE i heard them right when Al started trying to incinerate himself but yeah, pretty sure I did hear them say that. It needed to get in and was just running where it liked, mostly nowhere useful, despite the pilot's great aiming.
Finally got to see this disaster and OMG and that brought me to tears for sure. I have seen the following videos of the mess you and the boyz had to clear. Viewing this sad video from Dublin Ireland and wishing you all the best to recover from this disaster.
Good to see you were trying to put out the fire, I don’t understand why the firefighters were just standing around when the helicopter was picking up more water.. I hope this is a fresh start for you like Dave was saying but this is absolutely gut wrenching let us help you out !!
The amount of comments bashing the firefighters on site is shameful. Those appeared to be all wildland firefighters. They are not equipped to fight grease/oil fires in an enclosed metal structure with live rounds going off. I doubt a structure fire engine is capable of climbing his mountain road and there obviously is no fire hydrant up there to hook to anyway. The men and equipment on site were what was available to prevent spread to surrounding structures, landscape, tire piles, etc… Allan damn near killed himself poking around with his excavator knocking over flammable liquids. Leave it to the professionals.
Hello Alan from North Carolina. Man I'm so sorry to hear about this. I know I'm a long ways away from you but if there's anything I can do to help you out please don't hesitate to ask! May God bless you Brother and watch over you and keep you safe!!! I lost my home in 2016 so I know how it feels Brother. Holler if I can help in any way, shape, or form!
