Thank you, husband and I have worked really hard getting it back and now we are almost done. Just the wall to get put back up now but the weather has been against us lately with the rain and waiting for the builder to slot us in. I did put a new vid up today so you can see our progress. Even the poor phormium in the corner after cutting it back hard, is showing signs of growth which is excellent news 👍👍👍🌴🌿
So sorry to see this Tracey, but get out there, get those bricks cleaned up, and watch how beautifully resilient those plants are. Your garden will be back to normal in no time and with how quickly you have ideas, I have no doubt you’ll have another wall up in record speed! You can do this💪❤
Awe thank you so much for the encouragement. I'll get out there tomorrow morning without fail. I'll get it done. I'm off Thursday too, so I'll have time to sort out the wooden edges. I hope they have just sunk into the ground. A few of the pavers have cracked but I will get it done ✅
Omg! You’d be dead if that had happened in the daytime while you were gardening. Thank your lucky stars it happened when it did because it was a dangerous wall and had to come down. It’s heartbreaking to lose cherished plants, but you’re ok and you will soon have it lovely again … but safe! Take care lovely ❤ you must have a guardian angel looking after you lovely xx
Awe thank you. We are okay. We have cleared it up today and replanted the plants. We have stacked up the bricks in the driveway and now apart from not having a walk, the garden is looking quite good again. We will get there. I know I'm so lucky I was out there in the day videoing. Xxx
No, it's an empty house next door. I did hear the wind howling, or maybe it's the amount of rain we've had. I just don't know. I'm getting out there tomorrow morning for a good clean up 😁
Thank you mate. we had a builder in to do it for us. We are now gonna have it rebuilt but half the height, if that, maybe even put the blocks flat instead of upright for strength x
