Closest thing to a religious experience i can ever imagine . I am almost 60 and all the lyrics jusr arise in me without thinking, that is how internalized this band is. If you were a punk in the eary 80s you know what i mean. Respect from Thailand.
Don't know if most of the people who are in the audience know...most of the extreme music pumping out of our veins comes from the likes of DISCHARGE! !!!!! CROWEMAN UK EX GENITAL DEFORMITIES
Absolutely. I saw em in a small venue in Birmingham England back in 2015. Still holds up as one of the best punk gigs I’ve ever been to. Nothing beats hearing that d-beat in the flesh!
Metal fans are notorious for their low testosterone behavior towards Legendary Hardcore and Crust bands (Discharge and Wolfbrigade) at metal festivals.
@@sickojulius yeah I've come to that conclusion some time ago. Have an awesome band that you like and have just found out? Just let the next metal fan you see and they will probably hate it with a passion.
@@anarcho-savagery2097 true, and they always and forever are listening to the same 20 bands or so that they listened 30 yeas ago, , they ( always talking generally) are not interested at all in new bands, even not into new heavy/power metal bands, just judas priest, iron maiden, saxon, manowar, heloween , etc etc. As a rule 90% of them hates hardcore/punk, they despise it.
Seen Discharge twice this year and with the fans that love them. They are awesome 29 mins into the video is cringe worthy. Discharge don’t need to go down this route . Stick to the venues that love you ❤
@@martinbishop2675 Rainy is the only ever-present member of this line-up. That said, Tezz, Bones and Rainy are original members from 77 onwards. This is (also) baiscally, Broken Bones plus Rainy :P
That was a truly terrible record from Discharge - although I guess some of the metalheads would have dug it. The vocal style on Grave New World was absolutely hilarious. 😂
Because society has changed. It no longer needs mosh or violent pogo. We see enough brutality around us every day. And it's hard to dance to this music otherwise, after all. Moreover, Discharge is archaic. It's as if those who delight in the extremes of modern art went to an exhibition of Renaissance masters. They appreciate the achievements, contributions, etc., but it no longer excites or turns them on. It's the music and message of old people.
Subhumans gets better reaction and pits in Los Angeles. Saw em twice, gonna see them two more before this year ends. Weak ass crowd for such a legendary band
Time overcomes everything. At best, you become a caricature of yourself. Sad. They should have given themselves a break from music a long time ago. And those texts at the beginning - c*nts, your pants will fall off .... Embarrassing as stale jokes boomer uncle at a wedding .... It's 2023 ...
