Disciples 2: How to kill a Capital Guardian (Elf Saga, No poison, No sacrifice, No summons)

No use of poison city or attacking it with summons or sacrificing other parties.
1. Use armor potions/scrolls/spells (so usually just potions because elves dont have armor spells)
2. Have a high level healer in party (around 90 heal or more)
3. At some point in the Elf saga you find an artifact called Incubus Horn it petrifies enemies attack by party leader.
4. Equip a banner that reduces the damage taken b 15% or 20% (aslo found during the elf saga)
5. Save before attacking because most fights the Incubus Horn never procs.

For beating Capital Guardian, I somehow pulled it off in the Empire Saga mission 3, the one where you have to beat Hubert Deleyne. I buy time by poisoning, spell nuke, and Thief's duel to kill Hubert while leaving his party members relatively intact. This reduce Hubert's party movement to zero allow you to muck around the map however you want. I used that chance to get the Soul Crystal in the ruin next to Hubert's spawn point, grab all the armor potions I can find. research all buffing spells, and then poison the capital so that Guardian's lackeys can be one shotted by my Mage Hero. It take a few restarts as the Soul Crystal sometimes failed to paralyze the Guardian, but ultimately I beat him with 1 Imperial Assassin, 2 Inquisitor, and a Mage Hero. Healer aren't in this fight though because this map doesn't contain enough enemies to get her to the point of surviving Guardian's attack even with potions and buffs. Imperial Assassin, Inquisitor, and Mage Hero barely get by with around 10 - 20 hit point remaining.

@@spacecomunication It only works on this mission though, because Hubert Deleyne party, unlike other party in the game, has their move points reduced to zero if the leader is dead. Other party leaders, like the playable faction party leader, will still have a smidgen of move points when their leader is dead so that you have a chance to go back to the nearest town to revive him.

Hell of a cheating, fam. There's not enough monsters on the map to level up your troops to lvl 16+

Legions have it so much easier. An incubus with 165 hp, some armor and striking potions plus your favourite units will make short work of the guardians.

I just use my main warrior with banners and artifacts who gets 90 armour coupled with any healer who I give potions to get 90 armour and that’s it. The damage done to the duo by everyone is under 50hp which gets healed
