Going to watch this a few times as I am looking to switch from holy to Disc as I'm wanting to push 12's with my team for title attempts but don't want to just go shammy / evoker. The content itself is very good, and you do a consistently good job of explaining what is happening alongside your decision making. One thing I did notice from a recording standpoint were the framedrops on large pulls. If you change your setting for "Spell Density" to a lower setting (You still see everything on half) it should fix that. I was having a very similar problem in raid and it worked wonders for me.
@JustDiscipline 21:47 is probably the most egregious example of it, but there are also smaller drops at 7:44 and 20:13. I want to make it clear that these are VERY minor, including the main one and I only noticed them after my second watch. They do not in any capacity take away from the effectiveness of the video. Its a new-ish issue in TWW (But had existed in the past in similar forms in BFA and Legion) and a lot of my guildies were having it as well, and this is what we all found to help it.
You got the build that beats all the big channel meta recommendations for sure. Multi Mindbender and Power Word: Life carry so hard. It blows my mind people take 3% healing over a oh sh*t button on a 15 sec cd.
People take Wowhead as doctrine without even thinking twice.. but it's written for beginners. It's certainly not a min/maxed build, nothing will make me believe it is..
Love how invasive your weakauras are. I'm a huge fan of the Declutter initiative. Did I hear that correctly when you said the import codes for weak auras, nameplate color codes/settings , weal and woe icons as well as the different borders for things to dispel and stuff were available in more detail on your Metafy account?

I've thought about it and will consider it again, but I've implemented many other features for viewers to track my casts. Cast bar shows instant casts, all buttons are graphical, audio is mixed to hear what's casting, and spells are centralized to see what's happening! Perhaps tho, but I'm a sucker for a clean UI for myself D:
Hi i have a couple of questions, firstly that weal and woe tracker is sick where can i get it, also your bigwigs/littlewigs profile is that somewhere we can get it from to import for important spells or some dungeon guide beginners can see what bosses are doing the important mechanics us as discipline priests should cover and prepare for? Same question for your kui for trash aoe damage to prep especially in fortified weeks?
Used to use vuhdo, but no. Grid2 is going to be the best option for Discipline for how it displays absorb values. And then I have WAs to pair with the grid2
What is that custom proc graphic you have that pops up? It looks to be some sort of duration tracker? It’s to the left and right of your character similar to the twist of fate proc buts it’s a grey like color
@@JustDisciplineit’s not the harsh discipline proc tracker. It pops up slightly inside of that every now and then, and it slowly depletes. It’s a grayish color. Thought maybe it was tracking the void edit or something. Honestly no idea what it is though. Clearly something custom though!
@@ShellyBBird ah! It’s showing my weapon enchant for haste proc’ed! When I see it I try to favor casting CDR spells to help my Mindbender come back. ❤️

Personal preference for most, but the instant cast of Star fits better in our Shadow Cov. window over the cast time of Halo. Also gives you one more spell you can cast while side stepping dam.
Can I get your custom weapon enchant weak aura tracker? The one for the haste proc (stormrider's fury)? Or is that only for paying customers on your premium thing?

Ive just started to look into pve after years and years of arena/pvp, Im so used to the standard UI and dont really like looking at the spaceship UI's of pve'rs but Im starting to think they are necessary. How much do you think it impacts your efficency and are there any addons you consider must haves for a beginner?
Good question, I love a native UI as much as the next guy.. but to be a great healer you need some UI addons. The difference in my approach and the hardest part of the matter is being able to discern a spaceship UI from an optimized one.. which is not something many people even think about based off watching others' videos. I will preach it until the day I die, a minimal UI is a strong UI. And knowing where to draw those lines only comes from experience. For example, what's your plan to maximize PI unless you see your party's CDs? Or how can you tell where a cast is directed without WAs? Or how will you know a Boss' attack timer without a refined BigWigs profile? Certainly you can guess at all this, but your question was about efficiency. Guessing at your spells will never be as good as a well timed cast.
@@JustDiscipline I will start adding things and getting used to them as I go, I can see it would be extremely helpful knowing the bosses attack timer so Ill start with that, Im doing M+ with the bros in disc so they can just tell me PI for know but yeh I should get something for when I heal randoms. @@Jeebizz101 Thanks! Someone once told me since PI is my spell, it's my problem. And that's my philosophy with everything. EZ to use omniCD to show everyones 1 offensive spell- great addition for PI or lust classes.

Heya, Disc, do you know if the talent for cleanse for roots on fade is being useful for anything at all this season? I feel I'm wasting a point in that, I noted you didn't get it, so I was wondering if is DG specific or there is nothing relevant it is helping with. I'm having the hardest time ever healing as disc this season, got rlly happy to see a video of yours, I always learn a lot. The membership is for weakauras too? I'm missing some terribly xD ty
@@anacarvalho9047 the membership is for all UI elements, including WAs! And phantasm.. I’m sure it helps in some areas but I haven’t vetted them out yet. Disc is kinda so easy right now- just Radiance once your Rift is out and everyone is covered!
Curious how many times you hit Star and Holy word Life during this, Ive always taken halo and have just pressed it during those awkward mid-rotation moments
@@JustDiscipline Yeah I didnt realize it applys attonement. Guess it really does work well in those instances where you radiance and only hit 4 people and someone slips low!
@@DG-LG Food for thought, you should be using party nameplates to gauge the best person to cast Radiance on! Not too hard to always hit 5 people if you hit the person in the middle of your cluster!
@@DG-LG It's a real problem in wow people see them as invaluable, idk why either... they will have everything else on the screen that doesn't matter, but not what does! Maybe not for raid.. but M+ 100%
