I was so bored that I went through and listened to all the band covers of this song... I think this one's my favorite. Dude is in the right range without sounding awkward, and it's well put-together.
omg i just randomly clicked over this video.. whoever this disco guy is hes awesomeeeee ive heard covers of this songs and this one is wayyyyy better than all of them!
Pop music dance turning into a hard rock punk metal grunge style,What a great rock band group of these take the original version one of the originally performed by pop singer star Lady Gaga with her first hit single debut album call "the fame" and her original title song is call "just dance" and the way they play the song combination of the genre take the pop and mix it with hard rock and electro rock, alternative metal and what a great idea this band members of their greatest creativity idea to take the old song pop dance music and turning into something new recipe formula element song of the genre with rock version one.I like how they play the guitar with hard and aggressive tune and combination to the electronic sound.I give these song with a big score star in 19 star.
i'm impressed, they're one of the few covers to get the lyrics in the first verse right... it is a "dizzy twister dance" like the do, not "how does he twist the dance" like lots of people say... this is effin' brillz.
Tanner, the lead singer of Disco Curtis, said in the new issue of Tiger Beat Teen Magazine that the best thing about Hot Topic tours is "meeting all sorts of hot guys." Recently single (he broke up with long-time boyfriend Skylar in March), Tanner said he's hoping to meet "a gorgeous Latino or Asian boy who likes edging, frottage and watersports." The other members of Disco Curtis are not single -- all three have boyfriends who accompany them on tour.
In the December issue of Out Magazine, Disco Curtis members give a long interview in which they detail their love of Lady Gaga, how they write their songs, and what it means to be the youngest generation of gay icons. Lead singer Tanner tells the magazine, "We're proud of it, and we want our fans to know it's ok to come out of the closet!" Tanner shares anecdotes about being on the road tour, drawing inspiration for new songs, and "meeting all sorts of cute guys at every show. It's fabulous."
In an interview in Teen Tiger magazine, Tanner said he wanted to make a version of the song that celebrated gay culture in a more overt way than Lady Gaga's original. Tanner also dished on the band's new album, and broke the hearts of thousands of guys when he revealed he's already taken. Tanner told the magazine the new album would be a concept record with the songs forming a story arc about a boy named Ronaldo who wants to be a fashion designer. "It'll be fabulous," he told the magazine.
Oi they sound really good live. They can actually sing without autotune. Auto tune is just for editing so it's actually needed at points. I know this cause i'm doing a music course at school. Without autotune, it won't have this vibe. It's such an awesome cover.
AHH these guys were playing a free show at Hot Topic yesterday when i was shopping... and i missed it! i dont even really know any of their songs but i was so mad that i missed a "concert..." and this is awesome
On a Fabulous Rank of 1 to 10, with 1 being Barney Frank Fabulous and 10 being Richard Simmons/Liberace Fabulous, I give this Disco Curtis cover... ...A RANK OF 11 FABULOUS!!! It goes to 11! I was eating really, really chocolatey stuff today for brunch and had just finished watching Sex and the City when I came across this video and thought, "FABULOUS!" Disco Curtis are icons!
