Tequila Sunset, an extremely beautiful cocktail prepared with sour-sweet fruits and tequila, has another intriguing meanin gamongst the legendary drinkers like me: If you are totally sick and/or uninterested in the things await you tomorrow, you start to drink at sunset. You start drinking from sunset until you sleep, and you decide to do that basically until you pass away. You are the sun, and instead of shining very brightly, you accept fading, like a sunset. You might not be able to illuminate as brightly as you did in the past, but you transform into something quite beautiful to watch.
My brother I hear you all too well especially the part of "makes everything warm and glow-y - I trust you know the feeling." Thing is that aint us, or anyone really. I like to think of Tequila Sunset instead as the last drink, that final shot when you sit there and know "I don't need this". I think its the sunset on what kills us but the sunrise on what makes us. I don't want you to fade away brother, I want you to shine forever
I mean I thought the finale of the game sort of failed a bit for me but the ride there was something else. I'm not sure any game has ever gone as deep into substance abuse as Disco Elysium...
