I used to burn the dance floor up to these tunes in the 70's/80's with my BF/ex-husband in competitive dancing...now I'm 66 y/o in a wheelchair with ALS and he's in the same shape but worse with a heart condition. I sent this to him and we're reliving our glory days 600 miles apart! Forever BFFs!
I'm 57 years old Japanese. When I was in high school, I had to go to a disco to hear disco songs. Today's young people are happy because they can easily listen to it on RU-vid. Also, it's wonderful that you, a young woman, have selected these items. thank you.
on the other hand young people today consume music as if it was water. Back in the day for us it was a whole process of getting ready for the evening, calling up friends, meeting before and going to the disco together. Having fun together and enjoying not only the music but our self's as well. This is what today's youth are missing out :(
My 94 yr young Mom passed in Jan of 2021. Her all time favorite tune!...... PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC WHITE BOY. On the radio, weddings, Bar Mitzvah, graduation...when it started grooving, the funky Grandma was on the dance floor! RIP Bubbe
60 years old and this takes me back to the best times .....we danced all night .... no trouble no real violence just dance drink and beautiful women.....

Wow wow , I can’t believe I came across this !!!! It’s brought me fantastic memories of those days when I would go discoing 4 nights a week! No joke ! I dance the night away to those very music . So much fun those days compared to the young ones nowadays. We ALL had fun and only wanted to dance ! I am 64 now and I could still do my jazz funk dance lol

Hey Miss Jeny! I was a DJ in the 70’s. Great time to be alive and experience the disco scene. I was about 15 feet from Michael Jackson when he performed at the Autostade in Montreal. What a show! Jeny, great music and system. The key is don’t lose your crowd. I’m sure you know what I mean…..still dancing!!!

Last night my wife and I attended a Luther Vandross tribute act concert in Kent, England. The place was rocking, everyone happy, dancing, singing along, clapping and smiling.....all 60 plus years old. How I would love to go to this young lady's ' Live' concert. 💗

I played so much Funk, Motown and Disco in the mid 70's to 80's as a DJ in the UK so to find this many years later a young lady that has the rhythm and love of some of the greatest dance stuff around is brilliant, go girl the music from this era makes your heart happy :)
